Jet ski ran great last summer. It sat for 10 months and now wont start. Replaced the battery and still nothing. the guages dont even move
Check the fuses! I have two 900zxi's brand new batteries and brand new plugs,
Fuses are in the electrical box under a black cap(depending on model)
I have come across this problem many times first make sure you have a fully charged battery remove plugs and spin engine over with your throttle fully open to clear the cylinder bores of any dirt or old fuel change your fuel as old fuel will loose its octane quality and the 2 stroke mix will seperate from the gas over time change plugs and before you spin engine over place a couple of drops of mixed fuel down each carb and see if it fires up if it does then stops try again you will prob have old oil gummed up in your fuel pump hope this helps.............
Hi check the earths onto the engine and engine mounts also check all main connecters and battey termenals for corrosion if this doesnt work youll knead a multi meter to check yor continuaty
Oh. One more thing..... before spending money on repairs just try changing the plugs.

I have a kawasaki 900 STX jet ski. I replaced the battery and the spark plugs (3 plugs). The engine turns over but it will not crank. Is there anything I am missing?
Ok , I think I might have some suggestions. In 2-stroke engines there is a CDI electrical device. This device is like other electronics and is very sensitive to voltage/blips in voltage. I know from expierience that these devices can blow a diode or the whole CDI just from a close lighting strike!!!! The only other problem that I could think of is that the fuel/fuel lines might be dirty or filled with old gas. The other thing is that 2-stroke engines are very temprimental when it comes to flooding the engine with too muck gasoline at once. When this happens in a 2-stroke engine the spark plugs become "gummed' (When the 2-stroke oil in the gasoline mix gets all over the plugs drowning the plugs contact with the engine which blocks the spark from happening. If it is a 4-stroke then I would go to a dealer and have them look at it.
Hopethis helps!!!
No fire to engine
