I have a link but for some reason this forum software will not reproduce it correctly. Go to: http://www.google.com Search on: sony dsc p10 add-on zoom lens The link will be at the top of the list. There are lots of add-ons for that camera.

I dropped my sony cybershot camera , and now when i turn it on the lense will not open or move at all, how do i fix it?

Sorry, but you have likely damaged the lens tube (housing) or jarred the zoom mechanism off of its track, and there is no DIY fix for either problem. Your camera will require professional repair.

I have a sony cybershot dsc-f707 Icant zoom in or out only after I take a picture. I also wanted to know if I need to charge the lense to zoom?

Option 1:

Reset the Camera and check if it helps to resolve the issue.(Resetting the Camera will reset the settings of the Camera to the factory settings including date and time. It will not delete any data saved in the Camera).

The RESET button is located inside the battery/ Memory Stick cover. The Camera should be switched ON when you reset the unit. Press the RESET button using a sharp-pointed object.

Option 2:

If issue persists try Power reset the Camera by removing the battery from the Camera and inserting it after 1 minute.

Use a fully charged Battery in the Camera so that the Zoom function work normally.
