All of a sudden my NWUT0S mouse has started moving uncontrolably upto the left corner and stopped there then I have noticed that its batteries are fading down I started recharging them but no way, it is no more working. when I plug in the transceiver it says it is dowloading then it is ready to use but no movement at all. Does this mean it is time to renew it. Thanks.

SOURCE: dell d600 mouse pointer jumps into corners

What the issue is, is the eraser head mouse in the enter of the keyboard. When you type, it's putting uneccessary pressure on it, and it makes the pointer move. The only solution I know for this is to get the updated ALPS driver for the mouse, and disable the eraserhead (The updated driver gives you an option to do this), thereby using only the touchpad mouse.

SOURCE: It's not working right....

The BenQ M310 mouse needs to "sync" with the USB receiver. Need to push the two buttons at the same time, or maybe the one in the mouse first then push the button in the USB receive so the two can "sync" to each other. This may solve this problem. Good luck!

The first step in troubleshooting is unplugging the mouse receiver unit from USB and reinstalling the mouse.

If you still get this kind of problem, then either Windows has a problem related to this device managment, or the mouse is faulty.

Try reinstalling the drivers first, or let us know if you have reinstalled the driver software already.

Regards.

Mouse on computer runs away....cannot be controlled. The mouse is an optical mouse. All of the mouse properties have been checked, yet it still moves uncontrollably.

Device Properties won't help you in this case. There is a connect button on your USB receiver and the mouse itself. Press the Connect button on the receiver, then press it on your mouse. It should make it stop moving randomly.

If you go into the control panel and select mouse and pointing devices you can slow it down in the settings.

Ge mouse bounces around on my desktop uncontrollably

Hey,
Try this:
If there is any other electrical equipment placed near your PC, like a TV, or radio, or (unshielded) loudspeakers, or the little power supplies from router/speakers/mouse/printer etc?
If so, move these away from your PC and/or monitor.

Mouse cursor moving by itself

In windows xp go into start menu, then into control panel then click on appearance and themes, then move your mouse over to mouse pointers click on it , uncheck "enhance pointer precision, and click apply, that will stop the mouse from acting crazy, this will work with dell mouse pointers and most.
