How can I turn on the energy saver on my LWHD2400HR air conditioner? There is no switch on the A/C, only an indicator light that says "Energy Saver"?

I understand you want to know how to turn off the power save mode for your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FFRE12L3Q1. Your appliance will run in energy saver(econ) mode when used for the first time. In this mode, the fan will continue to run for 1 minute after the compressor shuts off. When u press the Energy Saver button, The machine will enter Energy Saver mode where all the display lamps are light off. Just leave Energy Saver mode, just press again the Energy Saver butto

An energy saver setting is what it sounds like. Turn off energy saver feature and fan should run 100% and compressor cycle on-off separately.If not familiar with energy saver setting .make sure it has one or not before disregarding this.

If this is a window or wall unit. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF. Unplug the unit and wait 12-15 minutes. Then, plug the unit back in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. Set the controls on anything except energy saver. If the unit then operates as it should, let it run for at least an hour before switching it to Energy Saver Mode. If that's the way you want to operate it. If it doesn't restart and run like it should or it shuts OFF on Energy Saver Mode, there is a problem with one of the setting sensors and needs to be replaced.

Also, while you have the unit unplugged, check the outlet to make sure it's still active. You can do this by plugging in a lamp. If the lamp doesn't work, the circuit breaker for that outlet has been tripped in your home's circuit breaker panel and needs to be reset. When you plug the AC unit back in and it trips the breaker again, there is an electrical short or overload in the AC Unit.

Please keep in mind everything I suggested is based on your AC being a 120 volt window or wall unit.

Hello Jester The unit needs 5 minutes between running and restarting.Humming could mean overload let it cool.Turn it off 20min.Turn power saver off on HOT days.

The energy saver setting will turn the blower fan off when the thermostat reaches the desired room temperature (with the compressor). Other non energy savers only cycle the compressor to regulate the room temp. so their fans will operate continusously using more electricity.

yeah you have to be carfull the only thing that does is shut the inside fan off it does not mean anything. it is a selling thing

Try this. I'm not sure if it applies to your model.

The reset sequence used is:
1) Crack the door open.
2) Within 3 seconds press the following sequence - Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry
3) Close and latch the door
4) Press the cancel button (the circle with the triangle in it)
