I had the same problem. Mine ended up being a cut in the pressure switch hose. Here's what I would do to troubleshoot:

1) Clean the filter down bottom one more time. Run a basket-clean cycle and make sure that the drain pump is working. If so, then move to step 2.

2) Do a diagnostic test. Here's some graphical instructions on how to do it:

Grab the codes off the t02 error codes test. There is a reference manual for the codes in a plastic envelope behind the bottom access panel on the front of the washer (panel below the door) -- remove the 3 screws then pull out from bottom. Lookup the codes and see what they mean.

Mine was E22 -- which indicates problem with pressure switch.

Twist the pressure switch 90 degrees clockwise toward the spring to release it. Undo the hose clamps and blow down the hose. Blow into the pressure switch to make sure a contact isn't stuck. I took the bottom panel off the washer and disconnected the other end of the pressure tube from the bottom of the tub. Once disassembled, I blocked the end with my finger to see if the hose was punctured -- sure enough it was. I taped it and reassembled. If after repairing and blowing out, if you still have problems, replace the pressure switch ($60 on Amazon).

That was exactly what was wrong with mine too! Found leak in hose where it was rubbing and wrapped it in electrical tape. Poor design on GE's part. Easy fix and free compared to having repair man come in.

GE WSXH208 Washer - Filter is CLEAN - Could it be the Control Circuit Board? Live in a condo where many residents have this washer and experienced the same problem. Final spin never kicks in fully...

Hi this either a speed control board which is located in the bottom of the washer, or a bad latch assembly on the front where the door latches into, the board is the more expensive of the 2 but usually the board is the problem. there is not a very easy test for either one, one quick test for the latch is if you start the washer and it locks the door and you let it run 2 mins or so and then turn the washer back off how quickly can you open the door? 10 sec? or like 30-40sec? If its like 5-10secs you have a bad latch. Otherwise i would lean towards a bad board. The board is about 125-150.00.

GE front load washer- error msg "door locked"

have you checked for any foreign objects in the drain pump itself this if the most likely problem.or the drain pump has completly stop.make sure you pull the drain hoses from the pump and check for foreign objects if there is still water in the unit use a shop vac and connect it to the drain hose to remove all the water before disconnecting the drain hoses. after the water is drain this may unlock the door as well

need to check hose that comes off the bottom of the outer tub to pump. if there is trash still in the rubber hose then pump thinks it still needs to pump out.

GE WSSH300G0WW front load washer

Had same problem with GE wssh300 front load washer. Removed two screws from front bottom panel (under washer front). Pulled off panel, loosened screw from a seal ring on the rubber flex hose going to a 4" square plastic housing. Reached down inside and found a ton of lint (probaby a 2" balls worth) jamming outlet. Removed lint an works geat. Very easy to do by tilting front of washer up and putting supports under front to keep elevated. Be careful to make sure supports are sturdy washer can't dop when servicing.

Ge front load-

We had the same scenario, only our clothes were still very wet when it finally finished the cycle. To cure all three we cleaned the filter behind the front panel. It was badly plugged and it, and the water it was holding up, smelled foul. So far so good since.
