Hi.

You will need to use a computer, there is no option for direct transfer from internal memory to SD card.

Remove the SD card from inside the camera and connect the camera to the computer using an USB cable. With no SD card the computer will show the pictures stored in camera's internal memory. Copy the pictures in the internal memory in computer hard disk, then eventually move them onto the SD card.

Regards.

Ginko

Hi, my Kodak EasyShare Z740 turns off after taking one picture, or even just by focusing.

That sounds like your batteries are worn out because they are rechargeable. The trickle charger doesn't have enough milli-amps to run the camera only to charge the battery.

What is the proper SD card for a Kodak Z740

The Z740 works with any SD card, 2GB or smaller. Just make sure you use an SD card, not a higher-capacity SDHC or SDXC card. The brand doesn't really matter, though personally I'd stick with the major brands.

I have a Kodak Z740 easyshare camera that will not format a 4gb sdhc memory card but will format a 512 mb card why is this

The Z740 works with MMC and SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work with the Z740. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Format my 4 g scandisk for my kodak easyshare Z740 digital camera

The Z740 uses SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card and, while it will fit into the slot, is electronically incompatible. You need to use SD cards 2GB and smaller.

I have pictures on a memory card but when I put it in the camera and turn it on it says there is no card there.

Double check first if you are using a recommended card for your camera Z740. The recommended card for your camera are those SD/MMC card 1gb to 2gb card.

SDHC Card 4 GB SanDisk will not format. get

The Z740 uses SD cards, not SDHC cards. SDHC cards will physically fit into the card slot but are not compatible. It's a hardware incompatibility, not updatable in firmware. You'll have to stay with 2GB and smaller SD cards.

Doesn't recognize memory card. I had an Eye Fi wireless memory card installed and now it's totally blank and the camera doesn't recognize it. Tried a regular SD memory card, and the camera doesn't...

Your camera is only supporting SD/MMC Cards (up to 2 GB)

The card that you currently have might be faulty. Please try another card.
You might also need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.1: Menu, Cam settings, Chose AUTO or SD card option Press OK

Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

Dropped camera, SD card came out. Took 2 more pictures, camera turned off. Replaced batteries, camera turns on and then back off.

I may be able to help with your Kodak EasyShare Z740 that turns itself off.

It may be a 'lens extending' problem, or it might be fixed with a combination of button presses to reset it while turning it on.

Try these steps to fix your camera.

I hope that helps.

How do I print or transfer a picture on the camera memory to the picture card?

In the menu there should be an option to "Copy" phoro. This will copy the pic from internal memory to SD card.
