Lift the handset
Press the set key
Press the repertory key (under which speed dial button like to store)
Enter the number
Again press the set key

Just a small correction you have to set the phone while is ringing. I did the following sequence call to the pone then press "Set" "#" "4" "#"

1) you must shure that you some distant near from the base
2) change channel for better reception
3) adjust the volume.
4) try to put the phone in another jack box, if the problem persist, the problem is with the company supplier.Remember to get charged full batteries. or are defective replaced.

PUK code is called as PERSONNAL UNBLOCKING KEY.
Your phone will ask for PUK code when you entered the PIN code wrongly several times depending upon the mobile make. The mobile asks for PUK code so that unauthorized persons do not use your mobile for wrong cause.
To get PUK code please contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office. They will provide you the PUK code for your mobile. The PUK code for mobile phone.so that you can open your phone. When you planning to call your service provider you cannot use your mobile as it is fully locked. With the handpiece on the hook. Try typing #86 into the handset. This should turn on CLI from that handset.

Man that's BAD! It's basically the phone problem...U can either change your phone or contact your phone service provider see if they can help u with the code.
