The relay is the safety protective device..sometimes a defective component or something. maybe an overloaded power supply might caused this problem..so before any thing could gets worst..the relay will shut the unit..

Thanks for the input. So far I've replaced the two main caps that had bad readings but the relay is still triggering. However, now if I turn the TV off and back on when the relay starts clicking the TV works as normal now. So I'm guessing something else needs to be replaced but with out a schematic I'm in the dark... I've tested the relay and it's good. Could it be the transformer going bad since the two main caps were both bad? Any additional ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the input jholen... So far I've replaced the two main capacitors that had bad readings but it's still triggering the relay. However, now if I turn the tv off when it starts clicking and turn it back on, the tv works as normal.... So I'm guessing something else needs to be replaced but without a schematic I'm in the dark... The relay tested good so it's not the problem so anymore ideas would be greatly appreciated...
