I've checked the specs: of your TV. Its original remote control number is "Toshiba CT-90157". This remote control have a slide switch by the left side of it, [a selector switch]; that selects inputs TV, CBL/Sat, VCR, and DVD. You have to select the slide up position to select the TV, to select the TV function by its buttons. Just have to slide one step down to select the input to CBL/SAT; to select the CBL/SAT function by its buttons.
But, without a remote control, you can seect the TV/Video function by its front panel controls. There is press button switch, just right side of its Menu button. For each press of it, the set's input selection will change from TV to Video and vice versa.
Just press this button to select the TV as the input. Then only, the antenna socket at its back will turn effective. If you can't select input by this way, the input selector switch; specified above, has the fault, or the input selector IC inside the circuit board is faulty. Just try this after a Hard Reset to this set, and then check. If it do not help you, contact any service technician, or the authorized service center for Toshiba.
There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset).
To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here.
