We have 2 WASP WWS500 wireless freedom scanners that we have been working great with desktop computers (we don't use a pairing pass code). We have just bought two tablet's (HP Touchpad) and would like to use the scanners with them. The tablet recognizes the scanner in the bluetooth devices but when I hit the connect button on the tablet it only has one option and that is enter the devices pairing code. As far as I know the WWS500 doesn't have a pairing code, is there a built in (default) one because I can't find it in the manual. Thanks, Gerry

Go to your blue tooth settings and delete it. After you delete it click on add blue tooth device. There is when it will ask you the 3 option's. The bottom Option is the one you want. (DON"T NEED A CODE OR DIDN"T COME WITH A CODE)

SOURCE: Hello, I have charged the

Perhaps the battery has moved (due to a shock of the device) and is not connected (as it should be in the device).

Open the device and check that the battery is connected properly.
Then try to recharge.

Also, it's a good idea to remove the battery and test (with a voltometer) that it has some voltage.

Finally, if the battery was used for a long time or charged too often (without the battery being fully decharged), you might have to replace it.

If I were you, I would replace it with a stronger battery. according to specs, WWS500 have a 700mA battery, I would put a 100mA battery instead.

Canon 8400F will not scan, error code 5, 155, 45

If it passes 'test' from the computer, then it should be listed in the Device Manager. Uninstall / Remove that device, then Restart and Re-install it.

Remote doesn't work

See if there are jumper wires or dipswitches on wireless controller that may have come loose or switched to an incorrect code. Match the code to your reciever and try again.

Barcode Scanner stopped scanning

These devices do fail, so that is most likely what has happened here.

when u connect ur phone bluetooth to any other device it need a pass code! you have to give that from ur phone manually and the other device should have to put the same code so now u use the headset option to connect to the bluetooth not the normal bluetooth conectivity !

I cannot get my keyboard or my mouse to work with my dell computer. what can i do?

Please add more information to get specific assistance. Are these wireless devices? If wired, do they use USB or PS/2 connections.

For wireless devices, try replacing the batteries and resynching to the receiver. (You may want to check putting the receiver in different USB ports.)

For wired devices, disconnect and reconnect. For PS/2 devices, you will need to restart the computer to check if the devices work. For USB devices, try connecting to different USB ports.

Next step, try using a different keyboard and mouse (that work on another computer (stick to USB or PS/2 to match the current pair)). Try a wired set if the problem is with a wireless pair. If those work, continue diagnostics on the wireless keyboard and mouse. Check if the mouse and keyboard work on another computer. If they don't work with another computer, replace them.

If another USB keyboard and mouse pair don't work in any port, your USB ports may have failed. Check if even one port works enough to access the Device Manager. (Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager (Win7); similar directions in other versions of Windows) Check for a problem with the drivers (For USB ports, scroll down to the USB drivers and look for a triangle with a yellow exclamation point or red x). Try to update the driver or roll it back. If that doesn't help and one USB port works, a USB hub may solve the problem.

Otherwise if the USB or PS/2 ports do not work with any devices and the driver fix doesn't work, then I'd suspect a problem with the ports on the motherboard. Replace the motherboard/computer.

I hope this helps.
