Re: I need a cable from handycam to laptop as disc dosent...
It is a standard USB cable that you can pick up from any where. (Sears, Walmart) Unless you are referring to the A/V cable. If so let me know and i can get you one, they are around 9 dollars.

yes external burners will hookup through a USB port and are plug and play any neeeded software can be downloaded from the suport site of the product manufacturer
Did you follow the driver installation correctly? Some installs want the cable disconnected while the drivers are installed, others want the cable connected , while others want you to connect the cable during the driver install. you also may need a more recent driver for your operating system.
its possible. there are new variety dvd writers coming with usb cables. they are used easily. just plug and play. try it. it surely works. plzzz rate me.
You have to have a cable to go from your Camera to your Computer. The computer side will undoubtedly be USB. The camera side will probably mini USB - but could be different based on the camera.
You might need some drivers on your Computer so that it recognizes the external device (camera). If your lucky - it will "find it" on it's own.
The cable you need probably did not come with your camera - as manufacturers have become increasingly cheap. See picture of Mini-USB Cable.
Another option is popping out the memory card and either inserting it into the memory card port on your computer (alot of laptops have them) or getting an adapter (Memory Card to USB) - see picture. Size of adapter will depend on the memory card.
I dont understand your question. You have a used laptop with a removable disc drive and you want to replace it with the same? Or is your drive missing?
Your best bet may be to get an external drive that connects via USB. But then, that sorta defeats the idea of a lap top.
Since on a laptop the laser lens is right in the open with the drive open, it's easy to get it dirty. Try cleaning it with a cotton swab moistened with cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and see if discs read.
It's also possible you have a bad drive. Like any other electronic device, it is possible for a drive to "just quit working" properly. The problem with laptop drives is that they aren't all alike, so you can't just pick up and install a generic replacement like you could on a desktop machine. The easiest solution to a bad internal drive is to get a USB external drive, which has the benefit that you can use it on other computers as well.
there will be a hotkey to output video (ctrl+f 6 or ctrl+f4 or fn+f4) depending on the model of your laptop
also set the display properties to output video to tv or external device.
thanks get back to me if it dosent work.
Two ways, 1- burn the pictures to disc using an external, since I'm sure your 27 doesn't have a burner. Standard issue burners are a little after it's time. 2- purchase an IDE to USB laptop hard drive cable. This cable will allow you to connect the 27's hard drive directly to your new computer as a slave or storage device, and will show up in "my computer" as another drive.
Try re-installing the software associated with the burner, so it installs the necessary drivers and files needed for the burner to work according to your needs.
Also check the connections and cables... sometimes moving it around causes the cables to loose some contacts.
