Zune 120 GB My Zune hasn't been used I bought it in 2008, still have the receipt and everything. So when I decided to put it in use... It won't turn on. the logo will come on the screen and it will have the little loading bar at the bottom... but nothing after that the screen just goes black. (yes, I charged it beforehand) Even while charging the battery sign will come up like it is being charged but it will go away after a second on the screen. It has never been used. I'm very frustrated here. HELP please.

Unfortunately, batteries have a shelf life. If the player sat for three years without being charged, the battery is probably bad. The chemical reactions inside the battery continue, even when it's not charged.

My advice is to replace the battery if possible.

Good luck!

Zune 120GB Battery(?) Issue

Send it in to Microsoft and they will be able to fix it for you. Otherwise, I'm sure there are online kits on how to replace the battery (but I fear they can probably get pretty messy just like phone repairs and such). Microsoft should be able to whip a new battery in there quickly.

I recently intalled new Zune software for Vista, but my Zune player does not synchronize with my system.

If it doesn't connect, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the Zune software.
Try to use a different USB port you haven't used before, so Vista will reinstall the USB drivers for the specific port.
If that doesn't work, with the Zune in, go to Device Manager and uninstall and reinstall the drivers that are installed for in the DM.

Zune freezes completely! When connected with PC it charges and after some time the message is displayed to keep waiting... which does not change. Tried to reboot, not possible (Back, Up, also Back, Play...

Ok, So this happened to me when I bought my first 120 GB Zune. If its totally frozen and it is totally unresponsive, then you have to wait till it dies and try to recharge it, and if it still has that issue try to return it if you can or if its still under Microsofts warranty, file a claim and send it to them to fix it. I just returned mine to Walmart since I bought it less then 24 hours when I bough it.

My 120 gb zune has stoped syncing with the libary for some reason i've added all the updates and now its stoped working

usually the zune program dosnt work with a vista system and the 4.0 upgrade. your best option is to try to find a downgrade for zune 4.0 or and alternitive system to use while microsofts come out with a patch for the vista.

Can't download music

You will probably have to move the music from your blackberry to your computer, then use the Zune software to sync the music to your zune. You'll have to tell the Zune software where to find your music, unless you put the music in the Zune music folder (My Music in "My Documents" is the default).

Best of luck!

120 GB Zune wont turn on or charge like its complely dead.

Ok the solution is so simple your goign to kick your self. what you do is take you zune cable plug it into any thign other than your computer say a Nintendo Wii or PlayStation 2 or 3 leave it for a few minutes then unplug it and try to restart it if it dosent restart while its pluged in. if it dosent restart then plug it back in and let it set over night some times the battery is so dead that the computer cant pick it up but make sure your wii or Xbox or what ever is turned on .

Zune 30 gb space

I'm afraid not, because the zune or any other mp3 player has an operating system which it plays music, if you were to format it would have 30, but DO NOT FORMAT, because if you do, chances are you will lose everything and have to install the operating system for it or send it in to get repaired. I just thought I would let you know that the 1 GB is used for the operating sytem (files, folders, core components)

Hope this helps
