I have a 95 olds 88. i smelled fuel when i drove it so i checked the fuel filter and it was wet. i replaced that and then found there are (2) steel lines next to the fuel filter and one of them is leaking. can you tell me what it is and how to replace it?

The other steel lines beside the filtered line are also fuel system related. One is a fuel return line the other is the EVAP line or vent line from charcoal canister (as most call it) to fuel tank. They can be replaced with new lines available at local parts stores.

Check the evap system /canister behind the drivers rear tire,the brackets rust out and pull lines off.also check front purge valve on top of the gas tank,reach up on top of tank by end of back door and see if its wet.Im assuming you checked for leaky steel lines.also check the fuel pressure regulator on the engine.My 2 95 blazers have had these problems over the years

95 olds royale 88 hesitated on pull out when accellerated, then jerked hard drove little rough.

Could be bad coils,fuel filter and tune up.This is basic maintenance.I today change spark plugs on 3.8 .One was crack and some worn out.190000 km.

95 chevy blazer vortec 4.3 changed fuel pump 2 days later it started to bog and sputter when giving gas change fuel regulator dont see any leaks or spray from the spider or the in lines they were replaced...

Check for a fuel filter problem..... sometimes the newer fuel pump can **** up debri from the bottom of fuel tanks that the old pump did not have the flow to **** up.

sounds like its flooded, check oil level, if its high replace it, disconnect fuel system , clean and dry plugs, then turn it over ,
