Does my lexmark x2600 need a batterie or power cord or does it work of my pc

Hello, Check the power cord and make sure it is working and seated in the back of the printer and you have power too the plug. If after you have reseated everything and tryed powering up. If not work then take to local repair shop or call cust. support for the printer.

Unplug the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Leave the other end of the power cord attached to the power outlet. Bypass any surge device or power strip, plug the power cord straight to the power outlet in the wall. Properly secure the power cord in the power adapter. There should be green LED light on on the power adapter. Plug the power adapter back in the printer. Make sure it's plugged in securely and in the correct position. If it won't power on automatically, press the power button. If that doesn't help, it may be a hardware problem. If that's the case, I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem.

Go to http://parts.lexmark.com and this will led you to a page where you can look up the power cord and order it for only $2 :) hope it helps.

Nope...... Get the USB Cord......That's what it requires to connect........

And the cd rom DRIVE is the optical drive (cd/dvd drives are found ON YOUR PC in the front..That's where THE SOFTWARE DISC (that's what you're saying you don't have) goes.

In other words.......get a standard usb printer Cord or get one from another printer........and make sure you got a power cord for it as well... then it'll work..........
