The error PXE-E61: Media test failure usually means the hard disk has failed or the hard disk needs re-seating or the disk controller is faulty. First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

The PXE-E61 is the error code for No Network Bootable Device Found. Which means the computer cannot find your hard drive and is looking for a network drive to boot from. Either your internal hard drive has failed, or it is not seated or operating properly. Troubleshoot the hard drive, either it is dead or there is an interface problem between the drive and the motherboard or BIOS setting.
Your computer tries to "boot" from several devices:
* floppy-disk
* disk-drive
* CD-ROM
* USB memory-stick
* over a network, via PXE (Pre eXecution Environment)
If you have a network-cable connected to the Ethernet port on the computer, with the other end connected to a "boot-server", then the Operating System can be loaded over this network-connection.
But, if you get "media test failure" and "check cable", then the network-cable for PXE is either non-working or not-present.
Any disk-drive that shows "ZERO" blocks is very probably a DEAD disk-drive. Replace it.
Dear, If you are using PC then make sure that Boot from PXE Rom is disable and boot from hard disk drive is enabled. Check your BIOS setting for configure it.
