I have a GE clock radio Model # 7-4894A and I can't set the time. How do I set the time???

If it has a wake button, push and hold the wake button while you push the hour and minute buttons to set the time to wake. It may have an alarm button instead of a wake button. Then there should be a switch to set to wake to alarm sound or music.

I have the same clock radio and I found out that you have to hold down the button and run through the times. The hour will change with the minutes. It goes pretty fast once you hold down the button, so I stop when I get close (like within 20 minutes of where I need it to be) and then click it one minute at a time until it's at the right time.

Apparently, you need to be a rocket scientist to set the time on this radio. Check the video at the link below. The lady says it's the most difficult clock radio she has ever used. Other than that, here's the time set from the instruction manual, and I quote from this site:

1. Press the "set" button, the ":" will flash on the display
2. Press "REV" or "FWD" to set the time
3. AM or PM icon will show beside the time.

TIP No icon will be flashing if all selectors are set. If you see any icon flashing on the display, press the SET button repeatedly to confirm everything is set correctly.

Or open the battery compartment on the right side and press the clock button, >> or << to set time, and press clock button again to save.

To set the time:
Hit the SET Wake/Time Button closest to the CD player until the clock face appears in the bottom left hand of the display.

Use the TRACK Rev Search Fwd Arrows to adjust the time.
Rev will decrease by minutes and Fwd will increase by minutes.
