I have a ladies rolex oyster perpetual datejust which was bought a couple of months ago. It's an automatic watch and although I wear it all the time including during sleep, it's constantly slow. Is...

I suggest you talk to Rolex or thier local dealer to see if the slowness you are concerned about is outside the guaranteed accuracy for the watch.

I can't find any reference to accuracy on the Rolex site but other makers have mentioned 15 seconds per month for the accuracy of an automatic watch. This seems poor compared to the accuracy that we have become used to from electronic watches but it is a mechanical watch!

Speaking to the maker might clarify what you can expect from your watch and if it is outside their tolerances, I would expect them to put it right under their warranty.

Changing the time on the rolex, how does the button work

You can download the user instructions by going to their web site "croton.com".
Select "customer service" from the menu at the bottom of the screen,

Select "warranty and instructions" from the menu.

Move the slider on the right hand side of the screen down to the bottom and click on the icon.

A generic set of instructions will appear for their watches.

Setting the chronometer

They Are not settable., They just are there to replicate what the genuine looks like. The bezel is a tachamyter it is a stop watch function of the watch, but most likely your watch does not have stop watch "chrono" functionality.

Rolex datejust

What you have is an older model Datejust -- or at least an older model movement. During the 1950s, many Rolex Datejust models had an alternating red/black date wheel. Tudor (Rolex's second brand) also had movements with the same red/black date wheel.
BTW, those watches are becoming more and more collectible. Sounds like you may have a nice classic on your wrist! :-)

I hope this helps!
