Try plugging the charger into an outlet then, plug the charger into the remote, remove, plug in, remove...Do this for approximately six(6) times or, until "charge" appears on the remote. When "charge" appears on the remote leave it pug up to complete charge.
Woah... holy cow this actually WORKED! My remote was dead for 2 years and I was able to fork $100 on eBay but this worked and its charging!!!! Thnx!
I have the same problem i plug and unplugged more that 20 times but didnt work..
With lithium battery there is a low cut off voltage. If you dont charge your battery and let it sit it will lose voltage due to the chemistry. If the battery goes past this low voltage cutoff it takes a while to charge it if at all possible. The battery will die if it get way to hot(ie left in a car on a hot summer day), charged x amount of times( some say 1000 times) or overcharged or discharged past the point of no return. I sell new batteries on ebay. Once you install a new battery it takes a minute for the remote to power up. Then try to charge it. If the charge doesnt come up disconnect the battery and try cleaning the usb connector with contact cleaner or alcohol. Hopefully this helps.

It took several minuets for my new remote to register anything. I just assumed they came completely dead and it takes a while to get to the point where it will function.

I have the same problem!!! I already plug and unplugged several times without luck
My alarm is also 7752v is dead and wont turn on
Use a high amp charger (like the wall charger it came with, not a weak USB port). Press and hold the F button on the side, then plug it in and wait a few seconds then release. The remote should "wake up" and start charging.
