Hello, I fell the same way buddy. Sorry to here about your Night Vision
monocular? But Tasco NV monocular is manufactured in Russia. It seem you got
a few year out of your NV devise...7 years is very good. The biggest thing that
goods bay is the Russian manufactured image intensifier tube. There are cheap.
This is about 85% of the monocular problem and 90% of the cost. Two items that
viewed as important with NV devises. The case, and the image intensifier
tube. Now, if you have Russian optics above 50mm for the front lens then on
could consider that the optics are another cost. Auction it off on eBay as
"doesn't work, parts only" Sorry, and I wish you luck...GB...stewbison
First I am assuming you have the correct battery and it is installed. During day light you can check your scope. BUT FIRST DO NOT TURN THE SCOPE ON UNLESS THERE IS A LENS COVER IN PLACE. Most of these devices have a cover with a small peep hole which will permit checking out during the day. There should be a switch to activate the scope.
Then adjust the focus and magnification (front and eye) apertures. I hope this helps.
