What type of faucet do you have?
1/2" pipe has inside diameter of .54" and holds 1.2 gallons per 100 feet
10 meters is 32 feet and holds .4 gallons
Average faucet puts out 2 gallons per minute, so 30 seconds you should get 1 gallon of water.
Put a bucket under faucet and check amount of water flow.

Assuming you draw just hot water from the faucet, then 30 seconds is slow for receiving hot water.
If you have single-handle faucet and raise handle straight up in middle, then you are drawing half hot and half cold, so it would take 30 seconds for hot to arrive.

If hot water is slow, the problem might be crossover.

or low water pressure due to clog in water line

Other problems could include clogged water filter, clogged water softener, defective pressure valve, and low water pressure.

Hi my vulcan gas hot water service isn't getting hot enough anymore? please help me?

check first if you have good water flow to and from heater. lift pressure release valve on inlet and allow few sec to flow, same with outlet hot water safety valve.

remove front cover from the heater, you should see your gas connection and thermostat knob.

check if gas is burning evenly and on whole surface, check for leaks on the heater and on the lines to and from the heater.

if you did not find any faults, no leaks, safety valves work correctly, check thermostats settings,

wind it down to minimal, then turn it to about 1/4 value (you did not specify model but this should do, widening arrow or numerical values ar self explanatory), lift hot water safety valve for few seconds, then open any hot water tap (faucet if you are an american...) and check if gas ignites and burns.

set thermostat to about 2/3 value and again, lift hot water safety valve for few seconds, then open any hot water tap. check if gas ignites and if water is sufficiently hot, if too hot - wind it down to say 1/2 way, if too cold, wind it till resistant and then back off a bit, DO NOT EVER LEAVE VALVE OR THERMOSTAT ON MAX!.

if none of these help - you need either, change the thermostat or heater itself.

if works - you solved the problem, close the tap, close the cover and use the system as you normally do.

i am always recommending use of insulation on the hot water system, it saves heaps of money over the life of the system.

hope this will help you - do not forget to vote... :-)

Truma water heater water wont come out of the taps when on gas, 12 volt or mains 240 volt

Bleed your propane system by running the stove for a sec. if that doesn't work go out to the heater and listen for the ignitor clicks see if it's trying to lite. My fifth wheel does this first time every season.

Water just warm?Have tryed turning the tap on top of the water heater .Tank no 172ete3f5m

Take out the four screws that hold the top cover plate on the side of water heater.Remove the cover and carefully seperate the insulation. Be careful of what you touch as the incoming power is connected to the top terminal. There is a thermostat below that with adjustable shaft that has a pointer connected to it. Use a small blde screwdriver to turn shaft to adjust temperature. They usually go up to 140 degrees.Thank you.

I installed a new water heater it has power to it but it is net heating up, is there a reset button if I tripped a breaker within the unit

First a question. Did you fill the water heater until water ran freely at the hot taps.
If not you may have had an air pocket and blown an element. Water heaters will
always be shipped with the ECO in the reset position. The reset is a RED button
located under the upper cover for the thermostat. Shut off breaker to water heater
and remove this cover, and the fiber glass, then push the reset. Replace the fiberglas
and the cover securely and turn on power. You should actually hear the heater in most
cases. Remember that it takes about 45 minutes for a full tank of hot water from startup.

Rinnai tankless waterheater does not begin heating water as soon as tap is opened, why?

Not sure what you mean specifically. Obviously the heater takes a few seconds to go through pre-checks and will then light. It will then take a few seconds for warm water to reach the tap depending on how far the heater is from the tap. If it is actually taking a while for it to light you need to make sure you turn the tap on full. These heaters need good water flow to fire up. Check for any filters in the tap ware and ensure they are cleaned out. I often take these filters out as they cause nothing but trouble and block too easily.

No water flow from hot water tap with a rinnai tankless water hea

Its A Possibility The Left Over Water In The Hot Is Frozen. If Your Line Is Exposed Outside Somewhere It Can Easily Freeze Up. Turn On The Hot Water Everywhere In The House And If Accessible Check The Lines To See Where The Warmth Ends. You Can Leave One Off Over Night In Hopes That It Will Eventually Defrost.
