Hi, you could try by resetting it, in the following link you'll find user manual with more details.
AOC e2343Fk Installation Manual
SOURCE: monitor went black after changing resolution
Reboot you computer and spam F8 until you get the option to boot in safe mode then choose VGA safe mode or safe mode with network is fine also and change the resolution back
SOURCE: All pictures appear wider than they really are
You may have to match up the video card settings with the monitor settings to get the correct resolution setting. Try adjusting the resolution of the graphics card to match the setting for the monitor. If this does not work you can call, Envision customer support at this telephone number : 1-888-838-6388. They should be able to help you get the correct setting for you set-up. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

It is definetly a widescreen the issue is either with your display card or your resolution setting you need to check both. If you would have told me wether your display is through mother board or scsi card the model of mother board or the display card then i could fix the issue easilly.
SOURCE: image set up of screen is only half of the monitor
If you v-size is already at 100% then the issue is with the picture being sent to the monitor. Based upon what kind of input you have for the monitor there is a number of different ways to fix this. I will assume you are using the monitor with a desktop computer. If this is for XP, then there is a simple fix as follows, adjusting your display properties:
Right-click on your desktop background and then click on "Properties" this will open up a new window. Select the "Settings" tab, then drag the green arrow in the "Screen Resolution" field to the desired setting. Since you have a "widescreen set-up" you more than likely have a resolution where the first number is about twice the second number...they should be close to even to have a square image (bigger numbers show more detail than smaller numbers).
Hope this helps!
