After setting the time manually on my rcr-22, the next morning radio's time is 3 hours behind what it should be.

Underneath make sure the switch is set to your time zone. Also check the day light savings setting.

My recommendation if you had trouble getting the time to synce with the Atomic Clock radio signal is to allow the unit to attempt to sync with the Atomic Clock overnight. This is what worked for me and as I found out there are times when the signal is stronger than others, and maybe the middle of the night ET is that time.
My unit is the RCR-22.

We have our heater set to switch off at 22:00 and switch on at 5:00, but every morning it switches off at 10:00, how can we fix this problem.

you have a mix of 12 hour and 24 hour clock settings
2200 is 10 oclock pm ad 5:00 is 5am in the morning
you have to set it to 2200 and 0500 in 24 hour time or 11:00prm and 5:00am in 12 hour time

Set time on RCA dual clock radio with fashion wrap? RCR 8622

I love the form of your question, as I wanted to wing the sucker myself, but got online before I actually pulled an Office Space on it. I found nothing, but I DID actually figure it out. Not super intuitive though. To set the time: Hold down the memory key in the middle until the number flashes. Use the arrow up/down on the right to set hour. Press Memory key again, repeat with arrow keys to set minutes. Hit memory key again. Alarm: Press/hold the Alarm button until the Alarm 1 or 2 flashes and press the side you want, 1 or 2, to set. Arrow time up/down, then do minutes, press alarm 1 again, select alarm or tuner, press alarm 1 again. Now I need to see if it will work in the morning. I know the flipping time is set though! Good luck. If you wing it, please post photos! :D

The atomic clock on my Sangean RCR-2 has not set after 2 days.

I think the white cord is the fm antenna. The gray one with the thick end is the am antenna. The frequency used to contact the atomic clock signal uses the am antenna.

I got a new Sangean clock radio R22. Te atomic clock doesn't pick up the time and I can't get it to set manually either. It reads ony L 0 on the right side. I have the part that receives set in a window....

I just had the same problem which you find posted here on FixYa.com. The problem solved itself overnight for me. I left the RCR-22 unit plugged in and searching for the signal when I woke up the next morning the time was set and the Atomic signal indicator was solid instead of flashing. It has kept perfect time since then. My only issue is that setting the alarm clock-radio is complicated.

Time lag.

Unfortunately, this is an innate problem with this device. Philips has a newer lineup of AJL models that operate on an atomic clock - real-time.

IMPORTANT! To adjust the clock and alarm times accurately, always make sure
you press the up-up or down buttons separately and not simultaneously.
