You have to start checkin from its main ON/OFF switch itself. If the switch have any contact contact trouble, the set will not turn On, even though you hear the click sound from the switch. If switch is Ok, then you have to come to the power supply regulator board. It can be easly recogonized the powe supply regulator boad. The main supply line will go straight to it. There will be more that 5 or mor secondary voltages from it, according to Tv model. These secondary wupplies will energzed only after the power supply switching circuit work properly.
Ther is a fuse [ a cartridge type; replaceable]. Check the fuse first. If it has blown; be carefull when you replace it; because there must be some reason for the blowing of that fuse. It is really a protection device. Before replacing it, you have to check the entire power supply board for some short circuit. If you have sound knoledge in repairing Switched Mode Power Supply [SMPS]; just proceed. Otherwise get it repaired by any experienced service technican or by authorised service center for Proscan. OK.
