I want to save my text messages onto my PC. I have a Sony Ericsson W580i phone. I cannot find the cable/s and cd it came with. How do I go about doing this? I saved some of it to "Saved Messages" but it does not appear on the SanDisk 2GB card I thought it goes to. Do I need to install any Sony Ericsson W580i software on my PC? Thanks.

To print your text messages, you could download an app called "Email My Texts SMS". You email the texts to yourself, you can save the email or print it. It is easy to use and highly rated.

for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

The signature works differently ,type the message and in the advanced options use the add signature to insert your signature.By adding your signature message will be send as picture message ie mms message not as text message.

please check ur message settings number it is nt the problem of urw580i

use the latest SE PC Suite ...
u can get it from the sony ericsson off.website....
in this u check out the sms ,backup ur contacts to ur pc n many more options using the usb cable...

if you text alot delete all your text drafts saved sent and inbox delete un-needed pics and videos apps notes music

did you get a cd with your phone?
if you did, insert cd and go to my computer and explore the cd.
find the usb drivers and install onto your computer.
the retry your phone.

select the message that you want save --->Select More--->Save Message--->Saved Messages. By default it will be saved to ur phone memory you need to do the above steps in order to transfer to memory card

check the message settings...and save the corresponding sim message centre number

I have not found a solution, but am not prepared to pay 9.99$ after paying over £100 GBPs for new phone. Will go back to shop and ask.
