Hello i have read that i need to replace some conductors to fix the backlight and flickr problem any idea of which ???
Hello,
The Samsung 214T has a known issue with the backlight power supply going out. The dark screen with green power light or power light blinking are the classic symptoms of this issue. Check out our web site at: www.ccl-la.com. We have a step by step repair guide posted that will guide to doing the repair yourself. It involves changing a few capacitors on the power supply. If you can solder then you should be able to do the repair yourself. If you don't want to do the repair we do offer a repair service for $30 plus return shipping. If you have any additional questions just let us know at: [email protected]
I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

Leaking capacitors on power supply in monitor atleast replace the 2 820u & 1 330u 25v
Look for electrolite ozzing out
Replacement of the capacitors 330µf/25V into the PSU and inverters is clearing the faulth, additionaly replace the 820 µF caps into the PSU as well.

I will get right into it
I have the same problem. Can anyone describe how to make the repair and where to find the parts?
help
I had the flickering issue of the screen. I looked at the inverter and found that the 2 820uf capacitors were bulging. I replaced all 7 capacitors on the inverer board to be on the safe side and hoped that would fix the problem. No luck, i am looking at replacing the backlights themselves now to see if that will solve the problem. I won't go as far as replacing the invrtor board as it is just not worth the price.
