Fisher paykel troubleshooting

Lights 1, 3 & 4 flashing implies it still full of water and won't continue the cycle because it hasn't pumped out the water. It's often caused by a blocked outlet hose at either the pump end or the sink end. Check the sink end first an ensure it clear but if not, empty out all the water, turn it upside down and remove the base cover. only about six screws. Unclip the hose at the pump end and ensure it's clear. Blow through it as hard as possible to test if the hose is clear. If this doesn't work, the pumps probably faulty and will need replacement. Unsure of the cost but it's nearly all plastic and very cheap looking!

What would cause my dishwasher not to drain?

not sure if you have posted the model number of your dishwasher.

There are several reasons for dishwasher not to drain.

1. faulty drain pump
2. clogged kitchen sink drain
3. drain cycle is not reached due to faulty dishwasher controller
4. clogged drain hose
5. the wash cycle is not completed due to heater not heating water - (try rinse cycle to confirm)

Happy to help if you can provide some details on when the drain cycle is not working. do you get any alarms on dishwasher..etc.

Hi My Bosh dishwasher is model SMU 7056UC The water is not out of the bottom of the unit, when the cycle is complete it is still cloudy. What do we do? What part number do we need for the door seal...

Hi
either your dishwasher has a blocked filter or a blocked water outlet. Some dishwashers will reset if you can unblock the pump or outlet where it goes to waste. You will need to bail out the water first, then pull out all the filters and clean them and if you can check nothing is jambing the impeller in the pump. Normally toothpicks, chicken bones etc. Sometimes it is blocked where it connects to the s bend under the sink. Just undo it and check it is clear and then reconnect it.
If you clear it and it does not restart you will need a serviceman

Water is clogged in the bottm of the unit. how do I clear the drain?

Hi,

The drain filter is clearly visible at the bottom of the wash compartment but there are several possibilities as to why there is still water in the bottom of your washer:

1. Blocked drain filter
At the bottom of the wash compartment, there is a fine mesh grille and a plastic cylinder which protrudes from it. Grip the plastic cylinder, twist anti-clockwise and pull it upwards. To clean it, remove any debris from the cylinder, rinse then replace in reverse order of the above.

2. Blocked/kinked waste hose
Check the waste outflow hose at the back of the washer for any kinks or other damage. Also remove the hose where it attaches to your sink (or waste outlet) and check for any blockages.

3. Blocked waste disposal / sink trap / waste outflow
Make sure your sink is draining efficiently. Clean as necessary

4. Faulty waste pump
If all of the above check out, you may have a faulty pump. Please post back for further advice regarding this after completing the above checks.

How do I find and fix the problem of one and one half inches of water left in the bottom is the dishwasher when the cycles are completed?

Hi,

Firstly, check to make sure the waste outlet from the dishwasher isn't blocked. Remove, the drain hose where it attaches to your sink and check both the hose and the sink inlet connection. If these are clear, make sure you sink is draining efficiently and, if your are using a disposer make sure this is clear as well.

If the waste hose and outlet checks out, turn the dishwasher power on, and open the door. At the bottom of the wash compartment, on the front left side is the float. Lift the float as high as it will go and see if the washer pumps out.

Try these tests first and post back with the results.

YOU SHOULDNT NEED TO REMOVE HOSE TO CLEAR IT FILL THE DRUM WITH HOT WATER A FEW JUGS FULL SHOULD DO PUT ON SPIN AS IT WILL TRY TO DRAIN FOR LONGER PUT THE HOSE IN THE SINK OR A BUCKET AND SHAKE IT VIGOUROUSLY AFTER A WHILE A VERY SMELLY SLUDGE WILL COME OUT DO THIS TILL WATER RUNS CLEAR.

Bosch washing m/c wf2000 pump not working

it may be as simple as a blocked pipe. Check the outlet under the sink it may be full of hair/fluff etc. If you can disconnect the outflow pipe from the u-bend under the sink, first check that the end of the outflow pipe is not blocked, then check the u-bend for blockages. If these are both clear then the pump itself may have a blockage. If you know how to get to the pump, then ask someone to help you take the outflow pipe away from the pump so you can check the pump and pipe for blockages. Be prepared for plenty of gushing water if you remove the pipe away from the pump, and have a pot or something ready under the sink for when you check the pipe at that end. I hope this helps.
