Getting a warning that the bulb has reached the end of its life and should replace soon. Going to order a new bulb just in case but picture is still good. Is there anyway to get the message to quit coming up on the screen every time I turn on the projector?
OK, found the solution on the net, you have to use the buttons on the projector instead of the remote to access the menu item.
Optoma H30 - When powering up projector the green light blinks and the projector sounds like it is running through a cycle and then the lamp light comes on and no picture on screen. I thought the lamp may be blown so I replaced lamp...same problem. Can anyone help?
The only way is to reset the bulb hours counter. There are instructions on how to do this with the replacement bulb. Please note that this procedure will reset the counter to zero(0). You should kee track of the actual hours on the bulb so you don't get surprized during a presentation.

Hi, I have just changed the bulb, but cannot reset the counter and there came no instructions with the new bulb, can anyone help???
Thanks a lot
I too am over my 4000 hours and every time you turn the unit on you have to press the same sequence every time.... no fun but after 4000+ hrs who cares! this baby is still perfect and I love it... replacement bulb is standing by. resetting the counter is covered in the manual.
