You have a classic over heating issue my friend. it's either you get the unit's cooling system cleaned out, or see if you can get a better cooling system.

9 times out of 10 it is an overheating issue, but if this game is also online, then you may have a malware creating this issue when playing the game.

try to run a good AV like ESET's AVs. try this link i have, you may be interested in getting a good level of security when online: http://bit.ly/otZ0jN

Lenovo laptops

1. Check to make sure that you have good air flow around the laptop, including sides and bottom.
2. Make sure fan/heatsink area is clear of dirt, etc. If you are using the laptop in an environment where there is a lot of dust, it will clog up the fan/heatsink.
Check the Lenovo support forum to see how the clogged heatsink looks. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-P-Y-and-Z-series/Y560-overheating-and-shutting-down/m-p/677023
Be aware to get to access to the insides, will require dis-assembly of the laptop. Best left to experts.

Lenovo z560 cpu overheating problem solved

OverheatingWhen the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermaloverload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is theproblem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make surethe vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed airto do this.

Hi,

I suggest try to check these things on your machine.

->Check if the machine is Overheating.
->Check which part of the machine is Overheating.
->See if the Fan of the machine is Running(Feel if the air vent of the machine)

Cause of Automatic Shutdown:
-Memory
-Hard Drive
-Fan is not working

Most likely those are the cause of the machine keeps on shutting down unexpectedly.

Sir i m using lenovo z 560 . i am often getting hang during playing games. and during multiplayer games only my LAN is creating problem. please suggest me some steps to rectify this problem

Hi,

I just want to know if the machine freezes do you have to restart your machine? And does your machine have a Dedicated Video Card? Ex. ATI or NVIDIA.

If so, what I suggest is try to Download the latest Driver, check the specific model of your Video Card. It could be the driver that's causing the problem on the machine. Try to download the Driver directly to the website of the Video Card manufacturer.

If not, try to check if the machine is overheating that's why it keeps on freezing while your playing there could be a problem with the hardware.

I recommend to call the manufacturer for further assistance to isolate if its a hardware or software.
