Hi, to connect by WiFi, if the desired network is secured, you need the password, or use a special software tools to find it, if it's an "open" network, as in a mall, you can connect to it but you need to login by a user and password to access Internet in the most of cases, the owner or administrator of that network provides such data. If it's a free public network, you only need the name of it (SSID) but your Internet activity can be monitored by someone connected to the same network and having the knowledge and tools to do that.
Some spots sponsor free Open wifi.... you can take advantage of it.
Many Shopping Mall's, Cafe's offer free wifi... you can ask for the password .. at the enquiry counter.. and connect
first u go into settings wifi is the first thing at the top of that page. click on it u can then search for wifi connection if none appear. the search button is on the left hand corner at the bottom of the page. once u have found the connection that u want tap on it and enter ur wireless key password. that should be u connected
My Linksys wireless router uses a different password to setup a wireless connection with the SSID (wireless account name) than the password for logging into the router for administrative purposes.
So I suspect you need a different password. However, without knowing which make/model of router you have, I can't help you identify where to find the information for your wireless setup.
Please add a comment with your router information for additional assistance.
Yup its have a wifi signal. But you need a wifi router .like mall they have a free wifi or a computer shop. If you want to open your wifi just
12 click menu-setting-connectivity-WLAN-on your wifi then search.then click the available wifi then if say connected.. You can now internet..
Ok, I don't know what type of router you have, but for most of them the steps are similar:
Go to your router's admin page. This is usually at 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 (enter these into a browser such as Safari, Firefox, etc). You may need an admin username/password - this will be written on the router or in the instruction manual.
Select the tab which reads 'Wireless', 'WiFi', 'Security', something like that.
Find a list of security options. 'None' will be selected if you have no password at the moment.
Select 'WPA 2 Passcode' or 'WPA 2 Personal' - WPA 2 is the most secure, unhackable WiFi security scheme.
Set a password in the password box, and click 'Apply', or 'Save'.
You should now have to enter that password on trying to join your network.
Hope that helped!
