I think it can be done. Just exchange the phone for a 7633 and change out the TA for a TDA-50.

Just because you don't like the message, you don't have to shoot the messanger. The 77xx series phones do not have ringtones. The 7600 series do.
The wholesale difference between the phones is $12.
The base price of a TAW-848 and a TDA-50 is the same, and the expansion of a TDA is less in digital integration. Those systems are about $200 more than a TA-824 in the initial configuration.
So, the proper answer is, change out the phones and system. There are no :"ring tones" in a 77xx phone.
