our two car remotes do not work either now (i put new batteries in those also).
the wall button, inside the garage/hardwired, works to operate the door, but the other two methods do not.
I did put in a new battery.
Hopefully that info will help you assess my problem.
Thank you,
Dave

If this is for the wireless remote control, press the learn button on the opener and then hold the button on the remote.
If you would like to chance the code on a wireless keypad, press the learn button on the opener, type the new 4 digit code on the keypad, and hold the "enter" button on the keypad until the lights flash.
Seems you've done everything right. Press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then walk over and key in a 4 digit code and press enter. If you are sure the battery in the keypad is good then I think your keypad is on the fritz or the wrong one for that opener.
I don't know this model. (in australia). the chamberlains here are probably the same. the 4 digit code you first put in the keypad is what you have to use. push the learn button on your operator then punch in your 4 digit No. Hold the enter button on your keypad until the light flashes on the operator.
That should code it in.

To change the code you need to locate the smart/learn button which is near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release it and then walk over to your keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.
See if this works for your car.
Clear out anything previously
programmed into the in-car system from the factory by holding down
on the 2-outside buttons simultaneously, until the in-car LED starts
flashing rapidly. This may take up to a minute (in most cases, the
key should be on auxillary, and/or the car door must be shut).
Decide which button you want to
make to be your in-car garage door transmitter. Hold your
transmitter up near the selected button, pressing both the garage
door remote and the selected in-car transmitter button
simultaneously. Hold down on the buttons until the in-car, LED light
flashes rapidly. This sets the in-car remote transmitter to be your
garage door openers make transmitter, but you are not done. You now
need to make this in-car transmitter your personal transmitter.
3. Go to the
Learn Button on your garage door opener. The button is usually next
to the area where the floppy antenna is connected to the motor head.
With Genie it is most often behind the light lens, and an indicator
light flashes red when pressed. With Sears or Liftmaster
(Chamberlain) it is near, or part of, the terminal screw board, and
is a red, green or purple square button with a green, amber or
purple indicator light. Press this learn button momentarily. The
indicator light will turn on and blink if Genie or otherwise stay
lit. For Genie systems, go back to the in-car transmitter button you
programmed and press this button 3 or 4 times, or until the door
starts moving. This should set your in-car transmitter to your
garage door opener. For Liftmaster, Sears, or Linear Megacode press
and hold the in-car button you programmed until the garage opener
light flashes. Your in-car is now programmed to operate your door.
Your keypad may be bad. If you press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then key in your 4 digit code and press enter the keypad should be working. Be sure you have a good battery. Actually the flashing of the keypad is indicating that it is sending the signal to the receiver. Holding the enter button in doesn't do anything extra.
Press and immediately release the smart/learn button and walk over to the keypad and key in your 4 digit code and press enter. If this doesn't do the job your keypad is probably bad.
One of your units has reverted from "rolling code" to "billion code" and as you have found they will each work but will not work with each other. The problem is finding out which unit reverted. The most common one is the hand remote but that could be wrong.
Ok you need to reset the code on your keypad? Or put a new code in. Well ill tell you how to do both. Before you start make sure you have all the remotes with you. to clear the keypad you have to delete all the codes for all the remotes (No there is no other way :-/) To do this there is a little red button on your opener its self not the remote. Press and hold it till the light goes out.(apox 6-8 sec) Try one of the remote they should not work. Now to set everything back up. Press the red button again just once DONT NOT HOLD IT. a little ambered color light will come on and flash then press the remote untill you hear a click and the lights on the open should flash once. Repaet that for each remote. Ok now to set up your keypad press the red button again go to your keypad and type in your code and hold enter till you see the lights flash on the opener. Then type in your code again to make sure it worked. If you just wanted to program a new code for your keypad then just do that last step
easyer then that , you die!
Open your garage door, take out the step ladder, a chair or get up on *********** in law's back, (here's your chance to be on her back for a change) press the read button of your unit (motor) a led should light up and on the key pad, key in the new 4 digits code and press enter, the light of the unit should blink
