I have an actiontec gt704wg... I set it up this morning- it was working but now the internet light is off, and the router shows in my network as on but I can't access the web with it! I've reset it, turned it off and on, what else do I need to do to get the Dang blasted internet light on so I can surf on my own dime and not my neighbor's?!
Who is your ISP? I belive what you have is a modem router. If the interney light is not lit then it only mean that the actiontec is bridged and you need to use a dialer on your pc to connect to your ISP. If the internet light is lit, no need for a dialer just connect it straight to your pc and check your internet.

It's a wireless modem router- it's specificially for accessing the internet via a wireless connection- how did it become 'bridged' suddenly? I don't think that I'm supposed to have to dial through the computers once this thing is set up. I didn't have to all day until it went bonk on me.
I have the same problem..i was using the internet and all of a sudden..i couldn't connect to the internet. When i checked the modem/router, the internet light was not on. But i had wireless signal from my macbook. I tried unplugging the phone jacks..and plugging it back on..turning on and off of the router and still doesn't lite on. Please help me with this problem.
