Question about Nokia 5130 Cellular Phone

My nokia 5130 xpressmusic phone memory keeps decreasing from the normal 25mb to 618kb now. how do i restore it to its normal 25mb cos i've formatted it several times but it still keeps going

Hi, the only option i think you could try now is to make use of factory re-set...But please know that when you click on the reset botton, its goin to delete all your contacts, all your messages..etc except information on the memory card..

This would most probably be because your mxit settings have been applied to use http (or wifi), this setting can be changed by going into your mxit settings and changing you connection setting from HTTP (or wifi) to APN

How to restore my full nokia 5130c-2 30mb internal memory?
Hi,
To solve this problem, follow step
1-download this original backup 2-store the backup file in memory card using Nokia Pc suite after connecting your phone by usb cable.
3-Select Menu > Settings > Sync and backup and then Restore backup
4-Select the backup file already stored on the memory card and restore it to the phone.
Hope problem is solved.

when you apply a theme on memory card it automatically decreases....do keep themes you use in ur phone memory and apply it will be ok....

My nokia 5130 Xpressmusic.... i want to restore the default setting but theres a security code.... but in the manual there's no code written how can i restore the default setting??? please help me
hi there!
Let me give you the steps on how to restore the factory setting of your phone.
Before you start, ill be advising you to please backup all the information that is stored on your phone because a hard reset will delete all the files from your cellphone.Remove the memory card, if necessary, and write down any phone numbers or contacts that you want to save.
After that, please dial *#7780# on your phone.After that please select "Yes" at the subsequent prompt to indicate that you approve of the operation. Enter the master code, if required by your model. If you haven't set the master code, use the default code "12345." Wait for the phone to conduct the reset. It may turn off during this process. When completely finished, the phone will return to its normal non-call screen.After doing this, kindly insert your memory card on the phone.

HOW TO FORMAT NOKIA 5130
To hard reset Nokia 5130 you need to key in *#7370# in keypad. Please note that this option restores the original operating system from the ROM and deletes all data stored including memory card. Make sure that your battery is full when doing this.

How to formate Nokia 5130 mobile
Hello and Welcome to FixYa

To format your Nokia 5130 Mobile dial code *#7780# or *#7370# which restores the factory settings and format. it will ask you to confirm that press OK. it will take some time and your handset will be format & restored to original settings. When it ask reset password and u have not changed it before then Default security code for Nokia is 12345

But if you format the whole phone memory then follow the procedure below

First of all Switch off your phone then press and hold 3 keys combined
  • Green dial key
  • Star key no *
  • No 3 key on keypad
then press the power on to switch on the phone.
  • In the process don't leave the 3 press and hold keys, After some time the phone will format completely

Note: Remember one things this will deletes all your messages, all contacts, photos, notes etc in the phone memory.Your phone is like a new phone. So better is first save all your data and then restore it.

Default security code for nokia is 12345

You can go to setting and give RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS . Phone memory will be formatted.

My nokia 5130 xpressmusic is showing memory full although there is free memory of 703mb. Pls help
Try to do this, type: *#7780# This should restore factory settings.
Then use Nokia PC Suite/OVI and update software on phone.
