To replace the clock light bulb on 2001 Honda Accord, you will need:

  • Screwdriver
  • Replacement bulb
  1. Remove the clock assembly in the 2001 Honda accord. Pry the clock assembly off by wedging a flathead screwdriver into the edge and prying off the cover. Work your way around until it comes off.
  2. Remove the old bulb by pulling it out of the socket. Dispose of the bulb.
  3. Replace the bulb with an equivalent bulb. Simply push the bulb into the slot. Be sure to take the bulb with you when you purchase a new bulb so you get the exact bulb. Purchase a bulb with the same voltage. Although a bulb with different voltage may work, it can burn out more quickly.
  4. Replace the clock assembly. Line up the clock assembly over the bulb and press firmly on both edges to attach it back to the 2001 Honda Accord dash.
Tip:
  • Place masking tape on the edges of the dash around the clock assembly to protect your dash while you are removing the assembly with the screwdriver. Remove the masking tape when you are finished replacing the clock light bulb on your 2001 Honda Accord.

Have you checked for 12V at the bulb holders themselves? If 12V present, bulbs are bad or open ground at the light socket.

How do i replace the dashboard light bulb for a 1985 el camino

you need to disconnect the speedometer then remove the 6 or 8 screws that hold the instrument panel to the dash.if its an automatic you will have to unhook the shift indicator cable from the shift colume.then pull the instrument panel out of the dash, turn the panel upside down and you will see the bulb sockets.replace all the bulbs at this time so you won`t have to do this again for another bulb.when hooking up the shift indicator cable make sure it indicates the properly selected gear when moving the shifter to each gear position.

My clock light has gone out on my Grand Am - can we replace a fuse to get it working again and if so where is it located?

the clock light doesn't have a separate fuse, it is on the same fuse as all the lights in the dash, what has happened is that the tiny bulb in it has burned out, this bulb is soldered to the circuit board inside the clock, you will need to remove the clock and replace that bulb, radio shack sells the bulb.

Tail lights and dash lights out in dodge dayton 88, need fuse diagram

If dash lights out that module tells you that the tail lights are out so the most common problem is the light bulbs shorting out, there are two bulbs, a 1157 which is brake and tail light an the 1156 which is a single element. Check that the bulbs ends are not flat and touching and check that the spring in the socket is wore out or the button on the inside of the bulb is not bad. If these are ok then it will be your Light switch. to take the switch off you must reach up under the dash and push button on top of switch then pull out knob and shaft and remove beauty ring by unscrewing counter clock wise. Hope this helps.

Changing rear brake bulb for a ford falcon EL

I have a '98 build EL Falcon. If the tail light assembly hasn't been out before, inside the boot there are these 2 locating pins coated in plastic. These are attached near the outer edge of the assembly, running inside the boot. The square shaped hard plastic bits protruding inwards are for screws to attach to - so don't remove these. I had to get the plastic off to free the locating pins to remove the assembly. The second part is the 2 screws towards the reverse light end of the assembly. You access these from the outside of the car. Once these are undone the assembly should come out far enough to access the bulbs - as wiring is attached. There are 3 accessible bulbs available to replace. The brake light and the indicator bulb holders are in line with each other and you twist them out of the assembly, then remove the actual bulb and replace. To replace the assembly, put the locating pins into position and then the rest until sitting correctly and re-install the 2 screws.
