Same problem here. It used to be fine, but recently my watch was pressed up against my coat pocket and some button sequence may have been pressed. From then, it has been beeping on the hour. Don't like it.

I have the same watch. Try pushing together the two buttons on the right. You will see the bell vanishing from the screen upper left side.
Good luck.

Timex has two ways to find information about your particular watch. Some of these models only have a guide consisting of a few pages. If you don't have the manual, Try this link:

Complete Timex link site:
http://www.timex.com/info/Product_Instruction_Guides_Downloads

Now, look up the model number, or if you cannot find that, check the three-digit Module Number from the back of the watch. Click on it in the Module Table, and download a PDF of your watch setting-instructions/manual.

If you need further help, call Timex in Little Rock, Arkansas, phone 1-800-448-4639.

I hope this helps you. Thanks, Bill

Stop beeping hour?

According to the directions: Press B - bottom left button,to go into Alarm Mode. Press D - upper right button - to activate the alarm and press again to activate the Chime, which shows on bottom left as a bell. To activate these press D. To DEACTIVATE them press D again. Press B 3 times to return to Time Telling Mode. It took a few tries, but D and B are the keys to stopping that annoying chime!

My ohsen digital watch keeps beeping every hour, how do i stop it?

Dave, you're amazing!

Watch manual doesn't show this secret trick. Bought $5 watch now in 2017, and held down C while pressing A and weekdays on/off toggles the beep.

I have an arnette digital watch, which beeps on the hour. I can't figure out how to switch this very annoying feature off! I can switch the alarm on and off by pressing the start/stop and reset buttons...

I have an Arnette watch as well and have long lost its manual. The model of my watch is AR 2201. Before it didn't beep, but after my move (where the watch must have been bouncing around a lot), it started to on the hour, EVERY HOUR. It has been driving me crazy. Hopefully this will help you, though the answer comes so late. For my watch, I pressed the ST/STP and RESET buttons (which both happen to be on the right side of the face) simultaneously. The watch beeped when I did this and I saw the little bell icon disappear! Good luck with yours.
