SOURCE: THE ERROR CODE READS SN.

Did you replace both temp sensors or just one? Did you make sure that the new sensors are the same model? If you did replace both sensors with the correct ones, the main board is bad and will have to be repaired or replaced. The actual manufacturer of your controller can provide limited technical support for someone who has the ability to use a multi-meter and test a few components at the spa over the phone.

SOURCE: We are getting the error message of NON FUNCTIONAL

Not much to go on but try opening the drain valve for a few seconds. If you have an air lock this give you a high temp code. When you open the drain it will break the air lock and start it pumping again.

I have a Dream Maker X400 hot tub that wasn't used for a year or so, I replaced all of the jet heads and filled it - when I started it the light starting flashing on and off with a clicking sound coming...

Hello, and thanks for the question. Your error code is actually "SN" not "5N" but they are sometimes difficult to discern on the LCD topside display. The SN error code is for a Non-functional High temperature sensor which automatically kicks the heater off and trips the breaker. You can purchase new sensors for $75-$85 (it could be more, my pricing index is quite a few years out of date) I'm not sure where the sensor is located in that particular tub, although it is most likely in the heating canister. Make sure the power is off at the breaker before attempting any tub repair. if you have shut-off valves to the heating canister you may not have to drain the tub, remove the heating can and replace the sensor you will have to plug/unplug the sensors from the power pack/circuit board. I hope this helps =)

Need help trouble shooting heater problem

Hi,
Yes this is your Hi Limit (High Temperature) sensor.
This is a safety device so replace it.
On most DreamMaker spas the Temperature Hi Limit sensors share the same 4-Wire plug, you will have to replace both.
If your sensors have a telephone style plug you can replace the Hi Limit with out replacing the Temp sensor.

I have a comfort spa portable hot tub with the pump housed within I am hearing a clicking noise and the dispaly shows the temperature readings ascending and the error code sn - what is the problem

This indicates a sensor failure. Either the temperature sensor has failed, or it has become disconnected from the control unit. If you find that it is still in place, replace the sensor.

I have a dream maker and my heater will not turn on. I had this problem once before when I drained it. However I cannot get the SN error code to go away. Any help would be great

Dream Makers do not have traditonal heaters. You may have an airlock. Look for a plug on top of the pump or some part of the plumbing, loosen to let the air out.
