Color scan files will be huge and it will take quite a time to process. Ensure that there is enough disk space in the computer to speed up the scanning.

How do i get my computer to run in normal mode again? and how do I get rid of the google chrome because this problem didn't start until i downloaded it into my computer.

Once Safe Mode comes up, click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore and select a Restore Point (date and time) that is before you downloaded and installed Google Chrome.

I seriously doubt that Google Chrome is your problem. Chrome is among the top tier as far as browsers go.

I think you've got a windows system file or boot file issue.

Installed the JB5323 Jobar Slide & Negative Scanner into a Window's 7 Professional contained in my Dell and it will not give me all the different things it has. It won't convert the negative...

You don't need any special software or hardware to do this, and it's really easy too! Open one of the saved image files of the negative scan using Microsoft Paint. It's under Start -> Accessories.

Now click select in at the top, and then right click anywhere on the image. At the very bottom of the menu, there should be an 'invert colors' option. Click it. Your negative should now be a normal picture =).

Scanning speed problem

The scanners rated speed is for black and white all error correction turned off. As soon as you start doing 24bit colour or grayscale or up the dpi the scanner will start scanning more slowly. I personally get abpout 60ppm with my error correction on black and white 200dpi. (300 dpi scans just as fast although 400dpi will slow down).
