You didn't say what model number, but check the setup menu to make sure it is set for cable (if you are using cable) and not AIR. Otherwise let me know the model number and what you are using for signal (cable, satellite, etc.)

How do i get my Panasonic ct1388yd to register it's picture and its sound of my game console

The modulator is outputting channel 3 or 4 analog not digital. Channel 3 digital is not channel 3 analog. You have the opposite problem of those trying to receive TV on an older Analog TV. You need to rescan your channels to add the analog input. Assuming you TV still scan for those like mine does.

P.S. - BNC!!! Really?? I only see those on security systems these days.

Channel not available dish

Heather,

I would be happy to help! I would just need some more information to ensure an accurate resolution. When you access the menu, does it say 'Main Menu' with options like 'Program Guide', 'System Setup', 'Preferences', etc...? What cable is plugged into the secondary TV? It could be a Coaxial (single black cable), or an RCA (Red, Yellow, White) cable.

GE GUIDE PLUS television coaxial cable

Contact the cable provider to know about the signal type they are transiting by it. If it is digital type, you must ahve a set top box to convert it to analogue signals, which your TV can process. It sounds so.

How to connect a philips antenna to a trutech tv

Unplug your television and turn the set around so the back of the set is facing you.

  • 2 Disconnect the antenna or cable connection from the television's "VHF," "Antenna In" or similarly worded port if it is connected.
  • 3 Examine your splitter and notice one end of the device has a coaxial port while the other end has two coaxial ports.
  • 4 Plug the coaxial end of the television antenna into one of the two coaxial ports on the splitter.
  • 5 Plug the coaxial cable coming from the cable television connection outlet into the second coaxial port on the splitter. Use the port next to the one you used to plug the television antenna into.
  • 6 Place one end of a 2 foot piece of coaxial cable into the single coaxial port on the splitter.
  • 7 Plug the other end of the 2 foot piece of coaxial cable into your television's "VHF," "Antenna In" or similarly worded port.
  • 8 Plug in the television set and turn it around so the screen is facing you.
  • 9 Use your television's remote control to access the "Menu," "Setup" or similarly worded function. Or press the "Menu" or "Setup" button on the front of the television.
  • 10 Select the "Channel Setup" or similarly worded function. Set the Input to "Cable" and perform an "Auto Scan" to locate all available cable television channels.
  • 11 Select the "Channel Setup" or similarly worded function, then set the input to "Antenna" and perform an "Auto Scan" to locate all available broadcast channels. Your television will locate both broadcast and cable television channels.
  • 12 Scan the channels on your television to make sure all available channels have been found. If you are missing any channels that you know you should have, manually program the channels into your television using the "Channel Setup," "Manual Channel Setup" or similarly worded function.

Sharp digital tv cannot receive digital signal

This television would benefit from an hdtv indoor outdoor amplified antenna not obstructed by trees, aluminum, bricks, and etc. Make sure the signal type is air and not cable and complete a channel scan during primetime tv hours after connecting to this antenna. Buy a large one that you can mount to the wall usually in a large flat box on the shelf in the store. Philips has one sold at Walmart.

Static after moving 13GP300 from one cable connection to another

try checking that the coaxial cable is inserted all the way. or it could be the wiring behind the walls on that side of the house is interfereing with the reception. or is there something else plugged in the same out let that wasn't plugged in in the opposing location? that could be causing issues as well. but first check the coaxial cable going into the back of your tv or cable box.

Can't get cable channels, only goes up to ch. 13

First check and see if you are on Cable or Ant. It sounds like you are on ant. Change it to cable. If you are on cable then it's you tuner, you need to replace it.
