Where can I find the measuring cup for Black and Decker Model RC446 part #RC426-30

Using 1 cup of rice to 2 cups water does not result in perfect rice in this rice cooker. The measure cup that comes with the unit is actually 5.5 oz. measurement of dry rice and then you fill the water line accordingly. 5.5 oz of dry ingredients is equal to about 2/3 cup.

Rice Measurements

You use one cup of water for each cup of uncooked rice. You end up with about 2 cups of cooked rice for every cup of uncooked rice. Different varieties, such as brown rice, take more water, up to 2 cups of water per cup of uncooked rice. If the resulting rice is too dry, you can add more water and restart the cooker.

I am not sure, but I believe that 16 cups refers to cooked rice, so you should not put more than 8 cups of uncooked rice in the cooker.

No instructions

Sorry this took so long. I had the same problem, but found that the white rice is measured by 3/4 cups then fill water to the corresponding line in cooker. I use three 3/4 cups of white rice and then fill cooker to the number 3 line. The rice must be in the cooker when the water is added. Good luck.
