Hello I am trying to find a print driver for my MAC for an HP photosmart C7280. My software is pre 10.6. Can you help me?

Sounds very much like you have a clogged printer head you should run the deep clean procedure form the printer dialog. If that does not fix the issue you may need to replace the print head.

I'm not familiars with macs but I would not even mess with the HP software. Open whatever photo/graphics program you have, find "aquire image" or something similar and see if it "sees" the scanner. If it does, just scan directly from the software.

I got this answer from another website but it worked for me!!
are your computers running windows XP or Vista? because in Vista, if it uses the pre-installed drivers that come with the OS, then it prints blank sheets between the printed sheets. if you install the driver from the CD directly, then it has resolved the issue a lot of times for me.

so to the properties of the printer, and go to the Advanced Tab, and click in New Driver. and in teh wizard, select HP Photosmart 'C7200' and not Photosmart '7200' (considering it is the Photosmart C7280). that should work.

I would uninstall the old software, download the latest software from HP's website, and then reinstall the new software.

I don't know what OS you have or how you connected it, but here's where to get the software from HP.

dirver conflict, completely remove from OS, take off network and see if HP works independently well. reset on network and share again.
