My dream maker has been leaking under pressure...I have had 3 visits from repair men to no avail...so I used my Roto zip to cut several holes in the side...I found a black hose that is full of pin holes... what kind of hose is this...so I replace it with...It looks like this is a factory defective hose...what can I replace it with...Help me Chrisy Lemmond email [email protected]

If your steam wand is leaking then you may need to replace steam wand o rings. These can be found at Ascaso gasket kit Dream Arc Basic . Available in a kit with easy to follow instructions.

I would advise against vinegar. It is a weak acid which may have an adverse affect on your plumbing, spa & jet surfaces even if you intend on draining the spa for cleaning.
I doubt it will be able to cut the mineral build-up anyway.

Here are two ideas Scale preventer or Jet Cleaner which work well on acrylic spa's. Just check with Roto-Dreamaker first to see if they will be okay on their plastic.
If you want to try something else before buying those try using a mild non-abrasive, non-sudsing cleaner with a soft cloth or nylon type scrubber to the build-up. Also try baking soda either option should be okay for the plastic.

The cause of the build up is not usually owner related but the water chemical composition in your area. Your local pool/spa store will have the best advice for your local water chemistry.

If it is only leaking when the pump is running, the problem is usually the shaft seal on the circulation or jet pump. This should be easy to check.

Visit your local building supply , they have fiberglass repair kits that are really easy to use and fill.

Unfortunately that is just to thick of material to cut with a jig saw blade. Plywood is made up of several layers and your blade is trying to follow the grain on one of them. You can try a metal blade and high motor speed low travel rate, but it will quickly heat up the blade and warp it making your problem worse if you don't stop often. If you are trying to make straight and curved cuts, I have the best luck with a rotary cutter such as the roto zip, but plywood easily snaps the bits.

This is easily fixed if it is in fact a clogged drain. Open the sunroof, and you will see a small drain hole at each of the four corners of the opening. The holes drain down through the inner body work, and the water leaks out through a bottom weep hole. Try pouring a few ounces of water down one of the holes, it should flow freely, and you will see it puddle under the car. If the drain is clogged or flows slowly, you must unclog it by blowing compressed air down the hole, or use a long flexible wire to roto-root the clog. Do this for the other three drain holes, and you should be ready for the next rainfall or car wash. While you are at it, clean out the weep holes at the bottom of the rocker panels, there are several holes on each side of the car. Good Luck.
