Change massege setting from massage setting menu.there will be phone memory is selected.change it to mmc."all of your msgs will be move to mmc or disapear you have to change back to phone memory to show them agin".when you select mmc all sms or mms will come also goes to mmc and if mmc remove msgs will not shown.

if you not found memory selection option in msgs setting menu. then you have to download a software called msg drive install it and open it.when you open its autometically chage "msg to mmc"

Reformat the memory card using your phone..or by using a memory card reader

after you format the card, you can use it. but the files inside your memory card will be erased.

Please follow the below steps:

Open Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Others -> Memory In Use.
Then change memory in use to memory card and files that you received will be save in the memory card

My nokia 3230 memory card is locked after i formatted it by the secret nokia method pressing the power key along with the dial key and 3 and star
1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.
2. Got to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore
3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.
4. At the end of the file you will find your password.

Message memory can't be stored to memory card.  You can save them to your computer using Nokia PC Suite and either a data cable, bluetooth, or infra red interface if you phone and computer have them.
Only music, pictures, video, audio files, and software can be stored to the memory card.

Receiving directly to memory card
if you want to recieve data on your phone above the free memory space, first try to transfer your files that was saved on your phone memory to memory card. or on safer way if you want to download data use mmc reader for downloading.
