I have a similar problem with my Frigidaire FDB4050LHS1. My Owner's Manual says to contact the Customer Care Center if the display shows "Er", "uF", or "CE". When I called them, Maria didn't have a clue what the codes meant - all she could do was give me phone numbers to authorized service centers in my area.
I managed to get ahold of a "SERVICE DATASHEET" P/N: 154718601. The error code "ER/ER" means there is a "switch failure"; "ER/CE" denotes a "Configuration Error"; "ER/uo" means "Vent will not close"; and "ER/UF" means "Fan not running".
The schematic only labels three switches - labeled "USER INTERFACE SWITCH", "DOOR SWITCH", and "FLOAT SWITCH". There is also a switch in the pump motor assembly. If either the door or user interface switch is faulty, then you probably won't be able to do anything other than call a repair service - unless you know how to replace these switches yourself.
If the float switch is causing the error, you might be able to run the "Water/Service Test". From "PF" (denoting a Power Failure) or idle mode (with no lights on whatsoever), press and hold the "DRY/AIRDRY" and "START/CANCEL" buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. This will start an 8-stage test that runs for about 7 and 1/2 minutes. The display will show which step the test is in until it shows an error code. Step 1 tests the water valve, which is where the float switch is located. If that switch is bad, you will likely see "Uo" displayed within the first minute of the test.
My fr dishwasher LEDB400f is flashing Er S cleaning , Itried switching off power for more then 20 min but no help .
I was also seeing the "ER" and "uo" error codes with my Frigidaire FDB4315LFC0 dishwasher. These and other posts led me to check the vent located on the upper-right top of the interior, where the nut holding the fan was loose. I removed the top rack, tightened the nut, replaced the rack, and restarted the wash cycle with success! If this doesn't work you might check this link: http://www.applianceserviceblog.com/blog/2009/12/frigidaire-dishwasher-with-blinking-uo-error/#respond.
Model # FDB4315LFCO Frigidaire Stainless Steel Dishwasher
I have a Frigidaire FDB4513 dishwasher with the same Er code. Through some searching on the web I found this manual which seems to be on the dealer side of the Frigidaire site:
http://www.frigidaire.com/tip/servicecd/Content/Dishwashers/5995477345_Direct%20Feed%20Dishwashers%20SM.pdf
It describes that the ER code means the membrane switch is at fault, actually it detects that one of the membrane switches has been in an 'on' or depressed state for more than one minute. This seems to corelate with the fact that one or two days ago I started to have trouble selecting which cycle/program options to use.
Worst dishwasher I have ever owned. Replace the vent everyyear what a piece of garbage
I opened the door of the dishwasher and found two switches connected to the back of the handle that you can take out and replace, probably a buck ea. I just kind of pushed the little white plastic knob that closes the circuit and it is back at work. No need to replace the whole circuit board! Hope this helps you guys also. Good luck
I have a Frigidaire dishwasher model: PLD2885RFCO
Were can fine the digital readout code for this model
the code look like it could be a > R A or a backwolds
7 - A.
What is the model number of your dishwasher?
SOURCE: Frigidaire PLD4375RFC Dishwasher error "ER s" any
error message says ou-what does that mean?
SOURCE: I have this code error
That will be a main control board. Also if you have a touch pad replace that also. If its more than three years do not repair but replace.
Good Afternoon Delia Collins, thank you for your post!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher is flashing an "ER" error code on the panel. Typically, the "ER" stands for an error code sometimes to help clear out a false error code you can perform a reset on your dishwasher. In order to do that you would need to disconnect power from your dishwasher for approximately ten minutes.
If you continue to experience an issue with the error code I would recommend contacting a technician for proper repairs. The technician will be able to properly diagnosis your dishwasher and this will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt
Good Morning Jimpat Holmes, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that you are having an error code "ER" displayed on the panel of your Frigidaire dishwasher. Normally, "ER" stands for error code and that can be a miscommunication within the board. I would perform a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by disconnecting power from your dishwasher for ten minutes. If you continue to receive an error code you could be experiencing an issue within the control panel or faulty wiring harness. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
Thank you for your post, friend!
I see you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dishwasher and you are receiving error code "5". However, it appears "5" is an invalid error code. May I have you model number please? Typically you can locate your serial tag on the inside wall on the left hand side. With this information I can better assist you with pinpointing the issue.
In the meantime, let's attempt resetting your dishwasher. You can do this by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position for roughly ten minutes. This usually clears false error codes. -Matt
Hello Shirley - Typically error code ER01 indicates that a water leak is detected under the tub. Unit will possibly need a hydraulic kit. Try unplugging the unit or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. Could the error code DF possibly be PF? If so, PF means power failure and you should be able to start a cycle. If the error code continues to display on dishwasher then I suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and repair it.

Regarding Fridgidaire dishwasher, mode FDB4315LFCO...I have had this problem about a year ago....error code and will not reset. Called costumer service who directed me to a repair specialist who had to take the machine to the shop, replace the computer board and cost me over $300. Now I have the same problem again......if I have to replace the computer board every year I think it is best to trash this piece of you know what and take a chance on buying a new dishwasher manufactured by a different company...I have had this dishwasher less than 2 years.
