I can recieve and send messages to all of my contacts except one. when I send a message to the number it says send failed try again about 5 times, then it says message not delivered invalid destination...which i dont understand, because i've been able to text this person with out any problems for as long as i've had my phone. i dont understand why all of a sudden it says invalid destination.

Android phones can sometimes get buggy with the text messaging application when something goes wrong in the "Thread" that the text is happening in. I would suggest clicking and holding on the "Thread" of the conversation [This is where it groups the conversion by person] then choose delete thread. Choose the person from the contacts list and try sending them a message in a new thread. See if this helps.

1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

Only two reason for sending message getting failed,

1) Check your meaage center number, call the customer care to confirm it

2) The Network may be busy, wait for some times and try sending it again

Kindly check the message center number from your mobile phone if its already there or you can contact your Network Service Provider to provide you the specific and correct message center number. Usually, you don't have to touch these numbers. If you suspect they are incorrect, contact your mobile service provider and ask them to send an Over The Air (OTA) message with the correct information in it.

Please be informed that the SMS Message Center Number is a phone number that acts as a gateway for transferring SMS messages between cellular devices.

Some tips!!!
Where are these numbers stored?

1. Launch the SMS application.
2. Access the Menu launcher.
3. From the Options pulldown menu, select Preferences.
4. The SMS Message Center and SMS E-mail Center number should appear. (Treo 600 note: tap on the tab that says SIM). If you do not see any numbers, it means your mobile service provider does not allow you to change these numbers. But usually you can edit these numbers and your Network Service Provider will provide you the correct and specific one.
