During the wash cycle the wire (approximately 5 inches long) from my bra got stuck in the machine. I think it went into the holes in the washing drum. Now I can hear it scraping when the drum agitates and spins. How do I get it out? P.S. My Eurotech washer is Model: W150 with a 15.4 weight capacity

I looked at the washer drum online and the holes seem pretty small there are (from the outside looking in some groves that it may have gone thru.}
Have you taken a flash light and with someone else rotating it {drum) by hand gotten a general idea of where it may be sticking thru by sound? then looking closely at that area for a protruding bit of wire? then grabbing i with a needle nose pliers or a wire cutter and pulling it out? I'm not sure how technical you are cuz taking it apart to get to the drum may be a challenge.
Hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Eurotech front loading washer, noisy on spin cycle with load.

My eurotech washer has an inner and outer stainless steel drum. The inner drum is supported in the back by cast aluminum supports. (like many other models). The cast aluminum carodes and weakens and breaks. You may find pices of this in the strainer. Not hard to replace and not expensive but very difficult to get the part. Eurotech has been out of the part for months.

SOURCE: The spin cycle will not run on the regular wash.

Check the pump drive belt. It may have come off.
Sounds like the motor is spinning but the pump belt isn't spinning the pump.
Pull the front cover and look under the machine for the belts.

What causes the washer to make a noise during the increasing and decreasing of the spin cycle. It is normal sounding during the spin cycle.

Could there be something protrubing through one of the holes in the spinner and making contact with the outer drum. Bra wires used to be a common culprit.

My front loader washing machine euromaid WM5 makes a terrible noise during spin cycle I think something like a screw is caught behind the barrel how can I access it ????

Hi! It's probably a bra wire if u have a woman in your life. They quite often get stuck around the heating element near the bottom of the drum. Get a bright light and stick your head in to see through the holes and see if you can pull it out! Hope this helps.

My washer makes alot of noise during the spin cycle almost like the sound of a jet engine.

Check the drum holes carefully, this often happens when something like a bra under wire gets caught in a hole and rubs on the outer drum

Loud squealing sound during spin cycle

Possibly a foreign article stuck inside the drum. When the machine goes onto spin this can rub against the outer drum causing such a sound.

This is commonly the underwire from a bra that has worked loose and lodged in one of the holes inside the inner drum. Have a careful feel round the whole inner surface of the drum to see if you can detect anything protruding. If you find a wire, grip it with a good pair of pliers and try to pull it out, remembering the shape that it probably has so it will need to be coaxed out accordingly. Anything protruding through the holes doesn't belong there!

I have removed three of these from our washing machine!

Something stuck in drum, spinning cycle loud hammering/clacking sound

hi there,

sounds like you may have something caught between the tumbler and the cabinet. since the drum has holes in it, can you have a look if you can see anything that's come of clothing, like a bra wire. it's usually something bigger.

Bra wire stuck in AEG washing machine

Hello, to fix this, what you should do firstly, is remove the machine from it's normal position, and then get a handyman to take off the back cover (which is not recommended by the manufacturer) and get right into the guts of the machine. Once you have found and identified the drum, internally, then open the waterproof cover, and note where are the parts and screws go. Keep digging the inside up until you ahave reached the bra wire. Alternatively, if the wire is still visivly poking out of the small holes in the drum, pull the wire out with pliers. Good luck! PS- If this information was helpful, please rate me either solved, thanks for trying, etc. Thankyou! Daniel Ballantyne
