E4 error light as come on now washer won't work [overfill]

Same problem - at same time (1 year after purchase) as guarantee was ending. Engineer "fixed" the problem - and one month later the same error code has appeared and i am unable to use the dishwasher.

Any solutions? Or recommendations for a 60cm integrtaed dishwasher to replace this one?

I have the e4 error code too!

Left machine alone for 3-4days and it worked again for 1 cycle, then e4 error code again.

    Any suggestions?

E4 relates to anti - flood activated. There may be a small leak from the door or the sump, which collects in the base tray underneath and eventually operates the alarm. Lying the machine on its side made the water drain out, the alarm goes off, and it works for a while again - until it fills up and alarms again. You need to find the leak, probably the door seal dirty, to fix this. Also - never open the machine door when it is hot and running, or cold air will expand in the machine and water will flood into the base tray, as the tank is a sealed box!

My Teka DW7 57 FI VRO2 dishwasher shows the error code E4.

E4 means it is overfilled because of too much inlet water. Turn off the main supply. Remove excess water from the base pan and restart the dishwasher. DW7 57 FI Teka official website Bathroom Kitchen Professional Kitchen and...

Apart from using the manual instructions, you can get technical help from the company directly too.

Hope this helps!

Error code FL flashes and my calypso washer keeps beeping. Won't start just shows the code.

FL error - Flood condition

"FL" flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a suds lock condition in order for "FL" to be displayed.

With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to the unit. Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

You coudl se this manual: Service_Manual_PDF

Hope this helps.

E4 fault code

Hi, when a dishwasher goes into overfill mode it usually means that the bottom tray has water in it that operates a float connected to a microswitch. Open the bottom panel and soak up all water then check to make sure the float is down completely.then restart dishwasher. Why it has overfilled is another problem. It could be a faulty pressure switch, pressure switch hose may have a hole in it, water valve may be faulty. Too much soap or wrong soap can cause too many suds and hence overfill. Also if rinse aid is spilt when filling. Or seals leaking. etc.

I f you have warranty on this please call them, you have a defective D/W.Unless there is no charge for repairs ,don't spend a dollar on what is going to be a on going problem ahead. To explain how to fix this is what the manufacturer should have done in the factory and not made 1 dollar off of this defective D/W until it proved this to be ready .What has happened to Quality Control ? Does it no longer matter ? Very sorry ,you should seek a refund ASAP.

Kenwood Slimline Dishwasher KDW8ST2A

I have a Kenwood Kdw8st2a and have been constantly plagued by the E4 overfill error.

Lifting the front of the dishwasher and tilting it backwards seemed to clear the E4 error only for it to come back after the next wash.

I found eventually that the connection to the U bend under the sink was too narrow and was almost blocked hence the dishwasher was not emptying properly.

I disconnected the dishwasher waste pipe and ran the waste into a bucket for about 6 cycles and it worked fine.

Eventually drilled through the kitchen wall and fitted a lower direct waste pipe to the drain. Overkill maybe buit it hasn't done an E4 since.

Problem with Candy CDI45, Error E4

The instruction manual defines E4 as "overfilled", a possible reason being too much inlet water. What helped with our machine - removed all dishes inside, then let the machine's pump run briefly to make sure as much water was drained from the system as possible. I then unplugged the device, placed a large towel on the floor around its base, and tilted the machine front-ward, until all water had run out. Lifted the machine back upright, plugged it in, switched on - and voilà! it's working as I speak.

DSE DVD/Video rcorder G1927 error notice

I think the stupid product manufactured by Funai has some fundamental material issues that with repeated uses either the laser lens get dirty or scratched. My guess is if it is dirty a lens cleaner would get rid of it but it is a scratch or physical damage it should be repaired. Any help from Funai? Forget it....they should have probably recalled the units once the issue is known but you know how Chinese/third world countries work..

E4 error on new conia dishwasher

Had the same problem. First you will need to tilt dishwasher back 45 degrees and tip out all excess water. A couple of towels on the floor are a good idea.

Second check that the little nozzle on the elbow under your sink where your overflow attaches is drilled out.

This fixed my problem after fussing around for a day and I was starting to disconnect everything to take it back.
