My acer note book wont start even after the start button is pressed. The battery charging light only is glowing

do the HARD reset. Disconnect the power adapter +battery. Hold the power button by 30 seconds. And then reinstall the power adapter and battery again and test again. this will solve the problem God bless you

Check model numbers, I had this problem with apple, to of the same laptops two differnt batteries

Remove the Power Cord and battery. Press and hold the Power Button for 20 seconds. Now put the power cord back in and Press the Power Button. Did you see any lights or hear any fans running? If not, your power cord is probably bad.

Indicator Lights:
1.Headset Status Headset Indicator Light
2.Powering on Steady blue, then intermittent flashes
(changes to standby mode)
3.Powering off Red appears and goes off
4.Standby Blue intermittent flashes
5.Charging battery Red solid light. Light indicator turns off when
battery is fully charged and headset is off.
6.Low battery Triple red flashes
7.Pairing mode Blue/red alternating flashes
8.Missed call Purple flashes. Press the call control button
to cancel flashing light.
9.Incoming call Triple blue flashes when ringing.
Power on and off:
1.Turn on the headset Press and hold the call control button until the
indicator glows blue. You will hear ascending
tones.
2.Turn off the headset Press and hold the call control button until the
indicator glows red. You will hear descending
tones. When power is off, indicator stays off.
If none of this is helpful then it may be that your battery is dead, if that is the case then you will need to replace the whole headset. The battery's are not replaceable.

Did you try using another power cord to see if it starts? Could be a weak power cord or intermittent failing power cord.

Could also be a short in the system preventing power to flow through the laptop

Do you have it on a power strip? if so try resitting it,if the battery is at full charge then you have an internal problem in the laptop itself.Bad power board,etc.Hope this helps.

1. It may be the ram sticks are not secure or seated properly.
2. It may be that the luminous tube that give the LCD it light has failed. In any instance you will need to have your laptop serviced by a tech. There could also be a bad inverter. This may be on the motherboard itself if so then a mother board needs replacement.

I believe these are BIOS indicators on some type of motherboards This could be a motherboard or memory problem. What happens if you remove some or all memory?
