Trouble starting a 2005 yamaha fx high out put jet ski..clicks over wont start

I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store. com for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

does it have spark at plugs ? carb clean and fuel new ?

How old is the fuel? Ethanol causes major problems if left too long. You may need to empty the fuel and clean out the fuel system. Try changing the fuel filter and adding some seafoam to the fuel and running seafoam thru the fuel system. Hopoe this helps.

Your Carburaters need to be cleaned (High Speed Jets) are blocked or not the right Jets for your Altitude. If you have a Security Issue (Ski Doo has this issue), it will cause it to not run over 20...

Fuses in the electrical box?

sparks ? compressions 100psi or more ? water in fuel ? injecters clean ?

test voltage at the starter while pushing start button. its also possible that the factory ignition kill is activated, try holding up the lanyard button and repeatadly hit the start button if the alarm is engaged then you should hear the starter barely kick every couple of seconds so then just unlock it. and last and certainly the most common, starter solenoid, they go bad all the time. be sure to check your fuses first though.

sounds like either your fuel pump has gone out or engine has possibly skipped some teeth on the timing chain. make sure u have fuel pressure going into throttle body assy or if you have good hearing, you should be able to hear the fuel pump running for about 5 sec if u just tap the starter. also need to make sure youve got no water in the tank, so the easiest thing for u to check on your own would be to cut off the hose clamp at fuel rail and put the hose into a clear glass jar and tap starter. if it fills up then its probably not a pump, but if the fuel looks cloudy then you got water on there.

is the starter button putting out power to the starter?

I have a Yamaha fx 1100 that starts real slowly the battery is fully charged but the bike sounds like its not got alot of power going to the starter can anyone help solve this also battery terminals are clean and not corroded
