SOURCE: My KitchenAid Supra self cleaning convection wall

There is a overload thermostat on the rear of the oven that will have to be replaced.
Self cleaning features are not recommended by most appliance technicians.
Self cleaning causes parts to fail often.

If the fan is working o/k, then there is little doubt that the oven element has failed.
This is quite common with fan assisted ovens.
The element is usually located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

I need to replace my 1987 approx. Chef wall oven Balmain fan forced and grill. Does anyone know the cut out dimensions. I want to buy anew oven that will fit the existing opening. Thanks

when you buy the ovens replacement
instructions are given in the paper work how to adjust the cavity to suit

there will have to be an air gap on back and sides of the new oven

you should call an electrician to wire in the new oven
to check , even replace the 1987 wiring and connections
if needed to meet the 2016 house wiring standards

you will need
tape measure
pencils
a square
straight edge
reversible hand drill and bits
two levels .... for inside the cavity to level oven
approx a 15 inch .one 6 inch
a hand saw or circular saw
, i found a jigsaw helpful

self tapping screws different lengths
as per the oven fitting requirements
you can use any paint to finish the job

white board or MDF board is ok

some extras strips of timber to level the new oven
maybe required

if imperial was used for the cavity of the old oven
metric might be for the new oven

some DIY about wall oven installs are found on youtube

My Chef Classic Wall mounted fan forced oven stopped working. Its grill section working. Fan and the light in the oven working well. Bot oven doesnot heat up. Please give a tip what is probably wrong?

The bake element has gone bad. They can visually look fine but still be bad. To check and replace that element you will unfortunately need to kill the power and remove it from the wall. Remove the back cover. Check for a low resistance (around 16 ohms) across the bake element. If the resistance is high the element is bad. Google the make and model for a replacement element.

Wont Heat at all

sounds like you have a bad wire connection someplace in the oven.

Broiling

it really doesnt matter because the heat transfers directly onto the food therefore you can leave the door open or shut.
