I have a LG 19LE3300 television and i whant to be able to connect an Infra red headphone while being able to listen by the speakers at the same time. actually when i connect the hearphone it disconnect the speakers, how can i fixe that even by adding a speaker connector

  • Anonymous Jul 03, 2011

the 19LE3300 have a strange behavior there are no outputs for audio and the SCART connector don't out put any audio signals. we are not anymore in analog TV in France and that is certainly the reason of this behavior. In fact there is no solution to solve the problem only to modify the programm. Finally I got the service manual for the 26LE3300 whose chassis is the same as the 19LE3300. Viewing the schématics it's impossible to modify something to get it work.
Since you were not able to give me a solution, would you give me my money back . as a token of appreciation for what guys you have been tried to help me, I will give you the service manual if you want it.

    Thanks

Hi,
First you need to make a test to adjust your headphones wireless system..
.pls follow the step below:

  • "Connect the headphone base" TO " headphones output of TV" with 3.5mm stereo headphone jack cable (than Tv should mute ) Infra red headphone pilot lamp should flicker in parallel to voice coming from TV
  • Infra red headphone should have a rotary adjustment on it.. "Volume" adjustment
  • while TV talking , when you sit in front of the Infra red headphone (it works point-to-point ) you will hear the voice of TV, than adjust volume properly...Thats it..now lets go to second step..
  • Your headphone's Base should either "3.5mm stereo headphone jack" or "RCA Stereo jacks" or "bot"h..After completion of this test ,I recommend you to switch / use "RCA Audio output plugs-white/Red cable " on the back of TV instead of TV's headphone output ,since it mutes the whole sound..RCA output plugs of TV work independently from the TV's master volume control..of course you need RCA cable to connect this..
Hope this helps!..if more help requires pls let me know.
Take care and please

Hi again..OK,if this the case here is the new solution...
since your TV has :2 x HDMI, SCART, AV, Component Video, VGA-sub, USB 2.0, connections,we will use the SCART pluf to get Audio output for your Headphone..you need to buy an adapter called " RGB Scart Male to 3 RCA AV Female Adapter Converter that can easily be found any electronic Market..one example as found eBay URL is below..
    http://cgi.ebay.com/RGB-Scart-Male-3-RCA...

After you get this adapter, you need to carry the audio signal from SCART to your Headphone with a RCA (white/red ) cable..Assuming that your headphone has RCA audio input..otherwise you need another adapter or cable RCA to 3.5mm Headphone jack..
please let me know the result..I will do it everything possible to make it work..for sure..but you need to help me too..
    Regards.

Hi,we are just trying to help you eagerly to solve your problem..Believe or not ,if I had the opportunity to visit your home I will make it work one way or another..
Even though I have not seen the service manual, I insist that TV's SCART connector which has 21 pins and "2x Audio Output " pins should be in it..there is normally no electronic equipment in the world which has half way wired SCART connection. Please look into wiring of SCART plug in manual again ,you will see what I have meant..This is a must for SCART connections..(unless mfg states somewhere in the manual..as "SCART IN only" )
To test it , just plug the SCART to your Stereo system/RECEIVER (you may need SCART to 6xRCA cable ) and if you properly connect IN/OUT plugs you will able to get the audio signal of the TV thru stereo..that's why I recommended 2 $ value "RGB-Scart-Male-3-RCA-AV-Female-Adapter-Converter" with IN/OUT switch on it.
"Would you please let me know the result ?.. if you have a RECEIVER and if you want to make the test of course."
    My regards..

How do I connect wireless headphones to my sony kv34hs510

Are your headphones blutooth or infra-red? Is your Trinitron Blutooth or infrared enabled to allow you to listen to it thru your headphones? If so, there must be an on/off switch that would actuate the Blutooth or infrared meachanism on the Trinitron itself. Otherwise, you WON'T be able to hear sound.

How to i connect my computer speakers to my LG tv?

Hi there,

Fristly, you need to determine if your tv supports 3.5mm PC audio input or RCA PC audio (Red/White) input.

To connect audio from your computer to your tv, you will need a cable with 3.5mm stereo plug on one end (this connects to your computer's headphone socket/speaker output) and either a 3.5mm plug or 2 x RCA (Red/White) plugs - depending on your tv input.

My plasma TV has no headphone jack. what do I do to use TV headphone?

The only way to do it (unless you go inside the TV and modify the TV) is to use a small headphone amplifier (or powered PC speaker system with out headphone jack) and connect it to the AUDIO line out (Red and White RCA jacks) on the back of the TV.

Hello,
Your TV should have an AUDIO OUTPUT other than optic..at least " Headphones" output..
You can connect TV audio output with a RCA cable.
white and red audio jack....
since SUB has both RCA and "3,5mm Headphone female Jack"..here are the options;
** you need to buy a cable one end 3,5mm MALE headphone jack and the other end 2xRCA stereo (or 1x RCA for mono or you may need "Y cable " ) to be connected to your TV...
** or 2x RCA
white and red audio jack and connect from your TV..
**" "Headphones" output to SUB with 3,5 male-to-male cable ( the least recommended)
And you need to connect front, centre and rear speakers to your SUB as well...
Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up

How do i connect my headphones? when i use a red/white tulip - jack out cable and then connect the headphones jackplug there is no sound, using the 'variable sound out'. should i use an amplifier like a...

If your TV does not have headphone jack outlet, then there is not much you can do, the Audio line level out RED and WHTIE RCA jaks are not made to drive headphone directly, it does not have enough power to drive low impedance load such as headphone which has about 8~32 Ohms impedance, the line out RCA is made to drive high impedance load 20,000 Ohms and higher.
If you want to use headphone, what you can do is to get cheap powered PC speaker system that has headphone out jack, then just connect the powered PC speaker to the audio line out of the TV, but the TV must have an option on the audio setup to turn off the built-in speakers.

My deaf father has been recommended to use headphones when watching TV. However, when his stereo headphones are plugged into the headphone jack socket, the internal speakers of his Sony KDLS32A12 are muted...

This is not a typical setup for most TVs. There are ways around it though. If your set has a set of audio output jacks, than those can be used to power a separate sound source for the headphones. There are adaptive listening systems available for this purpose what use either infra-red transmitters or RF transmitters to matching headphones. The key here is whether or not the TV has the audio output available.

Please check that and update this with what you find and I'll try to provide a solution within the context of your specific set. Post the TV model number too.

Thanks,
Dan
